Dennis the manager (I was told) got the minnows for him when my son got to counter he counted them and only counted 11, when my son told Dennis, he said close enough. My son said I am paying for 12 a dozen, then Dennis said you wouldn't complain if I gave you 13 now would you!! Really an adult taking advantage of a child. I have also witnessed Dennis yelling at customers apparently he doesn't like ATV traffic! And that is probably 1/4 of their business! Take my word for it go the 4 miles up the road to Elcho and get your gas!

The place is always super well-stocked with lots of cool, healthy grocery items, really fresh produce, a huge fresh bakery, lots of great sandwiches to order, a great nutritional supplement area, as well as a huge offering of either Lodge or Green Egg Cookware & Grills. The grilled chicken breasts at the deli are pretty delicious, that is when you are able to get them on the same day that they were cooked. Otherwise you are in for a horribly dry, though still flavorfully-seasoned, piece of meat. Get the Amish donuts from the bakery!! Though I am not a huge fan of donuts: all the folks I know agree that they are hands down the best donut out there. I go here more out of convenience (location-wise) considering that this is virtually the only grocery-store option within a 20 mile radius of where I'm at. I wouldn't go so far to say that this place offers foods at "low prices", but the things here aren't oober expensive. Make sure to watch the prices of the dry goods and frozen foods as I find those to be the ones that are most unreasonably priced.

The way it was described in the menu it sounded fantastic. But what was brought to the table was the most oversimplified, basic stir-fry dish. Rice, shrimp and what seemed like a sauce that was poured out of a jar labeled " La Choy". None of it was memorable except for the bill. Well over $100+ for my wife and I and I don't even drink. The first time we went it was much much better. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

I'd tried to get my car washed three times in the past three weeks while I was in Rhinelander....twice the shop was closed "for maintenance" and once because of weather. Seems to me that when the business is not available for a number of days, a little latitude should be given to those who have purchased coupon booklets. At least that is how I used to handle things when I ran a business. D. Highland
