I grew up with Krispy Kreme in GA. we stopped by the location in Jonesboro, AR to pick up some apple fritters. we were handed a 4 pack for $11. what we received was 4 cinnamon rolls with apple on them. I guess I should have checked to see what they put in the box, but it is not an apple fritter. Go anywhere and they look similar, these were sad looking little cinnamon rolls. It was NG drill weekend and my ten year old wanted donuts. When we arrived the line was short. So we ordered and pulled up to pay. The card reader was down!!!! We waited for a while and they were so sweet. They first gave us a fresh donut off the line and apologized profusely for the wait. Then they came back and gave us an extra dozen glazed donuts for free. They apologized again and we paid and we were finally on our way. With all those donuts in hand, we knew they would get wasted. So, what do you do when you have a bunch of free donuts? You give them away!!! We gave them to the patrons of the hotel we were staying in and the front desk. Jonesboro Krispy Kreme Store: (1) Store smelled of old oil. (2) The glazed donuts tasted of stale oil. (3) The filled donuts were about 1/2 their usual size. (4) The price of the miniature filled donuts was OUTRAGEOUS. (5) Many of the usual selections were unavailable, including the famous Krispy Kreme donut holes. This is a very crappy example of a Krispy Kreme store. It had few customers, and I am sure it will close soon. We will go elsewhere from now on. read more

The mecca of donuts and this is what I get? I asked for half glazed half iced chocolate. Those chocolate look extremely different than the pictures, TV, and all the other locations I've been to. I'm not sure if Covid has their supplier chocolate on back order but they skimp on putting it on their donuts these days. Sign at the door states 'hot light' times and that you get a free donut with purchase. However no one offered any of us a free donut and this has been the usual case with them for quite awhile. We will watch donuts falling into a trash can from the conveyor belt but they won't be inconvenienced to give the little kids at the counter a donut. Wrong business! read more

I was really craving a donut so I decided to go to Krispy Kreme and the hot and fresh light was on so I said jackpot. Well I went through the drive-thru and the guys in a very nice tone asked if I wanted to get 12 dz. donuts. I said no and thank him. Well that was when his tone change. In a snotty tone well the what can I get you he said. I told him I would like an apple fritter. In response I got were out. I said the. A chocolate and glazed. To which I heard do you mean a glazed chocolate doughnut and an original glazed doughnut in a very rude voice and I mean it was like if you only have the money to buy two then make sure you pronounce the order right tone. By this time I'm a little more then upset. Get to the window he tell me my total grabs my card and gives me my order. No thank you kiss my butt nothing.
