Kyle cut my hair, When I showed up for my 12:15 appointment I was greeted with "I've been ready…read moresince 12". I asked Kyle to get the hair off my ears and raise the back off my neck. I sensed he was struggling to do as I ask but when he started trimming my top, I said something. He tried to justify it by saying he was blending but why does getting hair off my neck and ears require blending my hair on top of my head? He took as much as 2 inches in some areas. I am now stuck trying to keep my short hair out of my face for the next 5 weeks, even with hair product. Despite my last name, I'm not a professional Barber, but I've been getting this head of mine cut for over 67 years and know when I'm not getting what I ask for. Kyle did not give me what I asked for.

The shop itself was nice, appeared to be unorganized and a bit messy, would recommend a bit of a remodel to add some more decor. One side had three barber stations (only 2 in use) and the other side seemed to be a more feminine side for the ladies but didn't see a woman working. My only disappointment on the place was the price, $25 for a cut seems pretty steep. DeMoss did have a sign telling to ask for your complimentary beer or shot and it was a very nice touch to the shop.

I did leave a 5 star review for this barber shop but thats when Jamie was working here. Dude was…read moreactually knowledgeable and experienced with cuts. First things first: This is a cheap barbershop $17 for a cut so you are 100% gonna get what you paid. Not to mention its all boomers so dont expect them to do any crazy good fades or blends like younger barbers do. So, the guy cutting my hair didn't do the best job. When i expressed concern about wanting to cut my hair lower due to a cowlick he was like oh well if you want to do a 1 or half zero thats like a whole new haircut which implied he would have to charge me again, i said forget it. Point is, i wasnt happy with the cut and i had to end up having to do it myself and fixing it. Save yourself the trouble and go out and pay a little more extra to get a quality haircut from people who will actually put in the work and not complain when you ask them to cut your hair shorter.

Please note that the directions will tell you to go RIGHT when you enter the shopping center, please go LEFT and it's all the way on the end in the Phenix Salon and Suites. Experience: awesome! Marc did a great job with consulting my boyfriend and myself before he made any moves with his scissors and trimmers. I appreciate that he wanted to make sure my bf got exactly what he wanted and that I would be happy to. He took my bf's crazy fluffy hair and untamed beard and transformed him into a sleek and sexy stud! Awesome transformation. Marc was hospitable as well. Offered us snacks and drinks, nice jazzy relaxing music. My boyfriend's favorite part was the PAMPERING!!!! Hot steamy towels, massage, facial cream... he was in heaven and so relaxed!!!! He woke up this morning and told me he feels good about himself and how he looks... that says it all! Thanks Marc!

I tried this shop twice because I wanted to give it a fair chance…read more On my first visit, Marc told me to wait down the hall. Once he realized I actually had an appointment, the situation became a little awkward for both of us. Linda ultimately cut my hair, and she did a great job. Both Linda and Marc made an effort to engage me in conversation, although at times I felt more like an outsider than a customer they were genuinely trying to get to know. I decided to give the shop another try. On my second visit, there appeared to be a scheduling mix-up. I had an appointment with Linda and arrived on time, but as I walked in, she was seating a walk-in customer. She had to ask him to wait so she could honor my appointment. The conversation during this visit was somewhat more comfortable, although I still didn't feel particularly at ease. Meanwhile, Marc seemed much more naturally engaged and relaxed with his younger client. That ultimately sums up my experience. If you're a younger, upwardly mobile guy who fits the atmosphere of the shop, this may be exactly the kind of place you're looking for. The haircuts and technical service were not my issue. Linda did a very good job. Where my experience fell short was in the hospitality and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed and valued as a customer. The shop states: "When a patron walks through our door, they receive the very best hospitality, a first class service that is tailored to their individual needs... the attention that makes you feel valued." As a 70-year-old professional who gave the shop two opportunities, that simply wasn't my experience. The haircut was good. The sense of hospitality and feeling valued as a customer missed the mark for me.
