My 1st visit, upon arrival, I was told the wait time for this particular doctor might be long. Not a positive sign to start with. During that 1st visit I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time in the outer waiting room and then an additional 10 minutes in the inner before seeing the doctor. X- rays taken, given medication prescription, told to return in a month. Not too bad an experience. 2nd visit, I waited 1 hour past my appointment time in the outer room and an additional 20 minutes in the inner with no explanation or concern of why. I consider this not only unprofessional, but disrespectful. If I had arrived 1 1/2 hours late to my appt. I would be turned away. My total time with the doctor? 10 minutes. Given shot, told to return in a month. I asked one of the staff members when leaving if the wait was always this long, I was told yes, the doctor takes a long time with each patient. I don't know about the other patients, but 10 minutes with myself is not what I consider a long time. It is unknown to me if all the physicians at this location have the same wait time, but this was my experience with Dr. Fissell. Perhaps it is the scheduling that needs to be addressed, I don't know and since I am not employed there it is not my responsibility. What is my responsibility is how I allow others to treat me as an individual. In order to trust and compensate someone to care for you some level of value must be expected. With all the positive advantages this location has it is not one I can recommend due to the insensitive consideration of my time and how it was dealt with. It's ashamed because I thought this establishment was what I needed for an ongoing issue.

I have United Health Care, and searched for in-network Physical Therapy and CORA came up. I went to CORA knowing they were in-network, but now all the bills are coming from Elite and they are showing as out-of-network. This is ridiculous!! Not sure if it is an issue on their end or UHC, but they need to figure it out, so we as patients do not get screwed. Make sure your CORA/ Elite Physical Therapy is in network before you get any service. I am still getting bills from last year...UGHHHH!!!!

*Unprofessional, disorganized, incompetent reception staff*…read more The therapists themselves are outstanding and brilliant! Professional, well educated, and amazing PTs. Unfortunately, the front reception staff are spectacularly incapable of handling simple new patient intake. The receptionist in the reception area sitting in the furthest back desk "forgot" to mention in addition to photo ID and insurance cards that we needed a prescription for PT. Never mentioned it once... pulled my daughter out of school, drove to our evaluation, checked in and it was a "oh by the way" you need this or else you can't be seen. Very dismissive and casual about cancelling our appointment after they failed to mention this requirement. In the state of Missouri, a prescription is not required for an evaluation and ... they offer free assessments - regardless of insurance type and coverage. There were other options besides just so rudely kicking us out, hence the...incompetent staff part. The worst part was the zero accountability and ownership from the 'professional' responsible for failing to communicate the prescription to me. In fact, she couldn't even be bothered to get up from her desk and apologize for her mistake after all the trouble we went through to get to our appointment early. So frustrated at her dereliction of duty and inability to work with us to find a solution. It's a shame a great group of PT providers have this support staff as the first point of contact into the office. Recommend making a script for everyone to use so this doesn't happen another patient.

The staff is also very caring and considerate. But best of all, they have an exceptionally patient billing department. It took my insurance almost 20 months to pay (due to budgetary issues with my employer) and the Signature Medical Group, after collecting my office copay at visit #1, never bugged me about the bill again until they got paid by my insurance and they could see what was and was not covered.
