While the deck was nicely done, even if it was not in the timely manner it was promised, the painting, for which we were charged $700, was not in any sense of the word acceptable. Unfortunately, my mother lives on the first floor of her home and is unable to travel upstairs due to health limitations and I was away on vacation and preparing for the start of the new school year when Brandon and his crew "finished" the job. When I was able to finally come over to take a look at the work that was completed several weeks later, the deck did look very well done. However, I immediately noticed that the painting of the exterior woodwork on the house was not properly done and when I went upstairs to check the upstairs balcony woodwork, it was even worse than I had imagined. As you will see by the included pictures the painting was sloppy and not what one would expect for $70 much less $700. The upstairs balcony door still had painter's tape on it and the painting was not completed, woodwork had paint spread all over it and things that should not have been painted ended up with paint on them. Since the "completion" of the work and the finding of the painting deficiencies, I have reached out to Brandon on two separate occasions via email asking him to fix the issues, and received no response. On the second occasion, I informed him that if he did not fix the issues, I would be filing complaints with the state licensing as well as with the BBB. Additionally, while by the time, my mother just wanted the construction to be done, I would also like to note that in the estimate Brandon had included the removal and rebuilding of a side entrance ramp. While he did replace the wood, he did not replace the rusty metal plate that was at the end of the ramp.

Called this business for help with a challenging septic system after seeing one of their hybrid…read moresystems advertised in front of their business. The owner told me he would contact the state septic inspector I was working with and he would get back to me. A week later I hadn't heard anything so I checked back with him. He said he was waiting for the septic inspector to get back to him. I called the inspector only to find out that Nelson had indeed not contacted him. So I called back and asked Nelson if he'd heard anything and was told that he was waiting for the inspector to get back to him and claimed he had called again. What I verified after talking to the state septic inspector was that Nelson hadn't done anything he told me he had done, yet he stuck to that story. I will never use this company. Clearly, their owner has an honesty problem. If he didn't want my job he could have just said so. I don't mind. However, I won't ever condone his deceit to make it look like he was interested while clearly putting me off. Stay as far away as you can from this business!

Not only did he NOT show up, he didn't even have the courtesy to call either before or after, nor did he respond to the messages I left. I had plans for that afternoon and our whole day was blown due to his lack of professionalism. If this is how they treat POTENTIAL customers, why should anyone believe they'll treat EXISTING customers any better? If something came up and he had merely called, I wouldn't have been upset in the least. I allowed 24 hours for him to call, and he didn't. So my recommendation is to avoid this guy and take your business to someone that understands professional courtesy.
