John and his crew do great work, but he lacks customer service skills to deal with conflict. We have used him twice in 2 years. We asked 3 different times for his price and he just said, "everything has gone up." So we assumed it would be higher, but close to what we paid 2 years ago. When he handed us a bill with a 216% increase for his labor we were shocked. Comparatively, the concrete only went up 2% per yard in 2 years. We showed him his last bill and this bill and he couldn't provide an explanation beyond, "insurance has gone up, everything has gone up." So we finally agreed to taking a couple of hundred dollars off the bill and wrote him a check. And that is when he decided to pack up his crew and leave before finishing the saw cuts. Don't worry John, I won't be calling you again or refer any business to you.
