I watched her front street fights and nothing special. There was a couple good coaches but seems like the majority are just there for money cause gym went commercial for sure. Lame experience cause of petty coaches but facility is nice. Found a new gym and sparred first day and got my fix. Wouldn't recommend to anyone above the age of 18, they will for sure suck your dry financially and waste your time.

I've never trained in any discipline of martial arts, so I was pretty nervous. The atmosphere of the gym is nonjudgmental and very welcoming. The coaches have everyone's best interests at heart and do an amazing job at making sure you're learning in a good environment. I don't have any little ones, but I've heard from numerous people that their kids classes are just as top-notch as the adult ones. Although it's a small gym with only one mat, the togetherness of the group makes it work. I plan to train with these fine people for many years to come. But if you have previous experience from other gyms this not the place as they wont let you spar right away do to this lame belt system rules. When I simply asked why they dont let people spar right away they quickly got mad and rudely raised their voice at me saying you need to be orange belt or whatever. They also dont let you train with the mma fighters even if you are experienced because apparently you are not good enough to train with them which sounds like narcissism and bad egos. They will also ban you for cross training between them and any other gym as they did with me because of their self centered egos not getting the attention they want.I also used to run a martial arts club in which I dont anymore and not an actual business in which sophie and cruz had an issue with for some reason and banned me for it saying I stole their students which is not even true and they went as far spreading this lie around town trying to make me look bad like a bunch of gossipers. Another lame thing about this gym is that they make you clean their mats after class even though your paying them $300 dollars of your hard earned money to them, and if you dont do it you get yelled at by cruz and sophie. And they have a couple new coaches who seem exceptionally knowledgeable. But. And this is a big but. There's one major problem: They use a very pungent air freshener. It's so strong and overpowering it makes me feel nauseous and/or lightheaded. And it makes it impossible for me to work out and breathe heavily in the gym. What's weird is a lot of these reviews mention the gym smells really good. The air freshener smell is identical to a hotel I stayed at in Lovelock NV that had a casino and was trying to squash the smell of cigarettes. It's not a clean fresh smelling "scent". It's like the "plug in" version of an industrial HVAC system. Or like those super strong car air fresheners. It's really too bad. I would have loved to work out here. Must mention: Coach Kenzie is amazing. Marshall, I'm begging you: Please stop using that air freshener!!!!
