I have never heard such horrible music in my life. For some reason, after Buck died, his son thought he could revive his musical career, and he still sounds terrible. Sadly, he used his dad's death to get back into the business, even taking back the Owens name he had dropped. I wish the evening music was as good as the daytime, but as long as they allow young Owens on live, I am not listening. Today, for some reason, static came on many times, as a song finished. Is the disc jockey asleep? Whatever, today is not representative of how good this station can be.

Terry Maxwell, at 3:00 til 6:00 has a better show as a newcomer than either of the veterans mentioned above. His insight about the way the government works makes for a good show. Hope he stays around. I cannot emphasize how much getting rid of the prior local "talent" has helped this station. And as one other yelper mentioned, this one always has a clear signal, KERN cannot say that. Coast to Coast in the nighttime is decent too, when it gets too far "out there", I just turn it off or find something else. Not sure if "Somewhere in Time" will continue after Art Bell's death, that's not a bad show either.

Like others, there needs to be scripting or solid rehersal of what one will say before rambling. The morning plug for your AM program that runs everyday doesnt make sense. It is painful, PAINFUL, to listen to. We don't need layers, or micro climates, reminders for jackets etc. What is the temperature expected for the week, the end! The midday show is lovely, but morning weather makes the program intolerable.

And not the same old played out Cameo song (Word Up!) but the Bar Kays, Slave, Rick James (the goods that are typically NOT played on the radio), The Time, Prince (remember "Lady Cab Driver"??) and Fatback - HELLO! ++ Modern R & B oldies - R. Kelly, Guy, Cover Girls - and again, songs that you NEVER hear on the radio any more. I almost crashed the rental when "Thighs High" came on - haven't heard that jam in YEARS!

So the first ad might be for a 1988 Buick, the next will be a 2009 Toyota, then maybe a 1990 Doge. SO incompetent. Obviously, this publication exists solely for the dealers and their ads, and that's why they jumble up all the other listings to give the dealers an advantage. If Auto Trader ever comes to town, this outfit will likely fade away.
