I have enjoyed KGET for years!! 15 + The change in the morning with the addition of a new weather forecaster has me watching a different channel. Like others, there needs to be scripting or solid rehersal of what one will say before rambling. The morning plug for your AM program that runs everyday doesnt make sense. It is painful, PAINFUL, to listen to. We don't need layers, or micro climates, reminders for jackets etc. What is the temperature expected for the week, the end! The midday show is lovely, but morning weather makes the program intolerable. read more

Gabriela Rosales serms like a nice lady but can someone please write scripts for her to read for her weather reports because she is very repetitive. She will say the word Degrees 15 times in one segment. It is obvious that English is a second language for her. Also her interview for ADAKC this morning was hard to watch. She rambles. read more

I just like to complement Candy as the weather announcer. She really does an awesome job. It makes it worth watching.

Sadly we've always enjoyed watching you station until you have allowed a person with money and power to corrupt it with personal agenda. Tom Steyer has the money to buy the time, but you should have the moral obligation to us not to allow such a personal polictical platform. We have chose to turn the channel, along with many others. read more

This is by far our go to for local news here in Bakersfield. The news team seem to get along which is not always the case and aside from Yelp, Channel 17 gives us heads up on upcoming events. Alissa is a doll and we send our prayers and good thoughts to her and her husband on their soon to be baby. Jim and Tami make a great team at 5:00 p.m and enjoy your Sunday morning airtime. read more

Forecasting is the worst. They can never predict the whether right. Using words, for example , "looks like" "it might" and "probable" are some some if the words they use. They need to replace their equipment or the blond lady doing the forecast. read more

Lori Lizarraga has to be the nicest person in the world. Never a negative expression, or word to say. She is also an excellent and talented Meteorologist, but that's not all. Just with the first two details, you might think smart and nice, must be aesthetically challenged? NOT at ALL. Totally a natural beauty in excellent shape. If I had to be a girl, Id want to be her, but since I am a guy, My award of Miss Universe, Best role model, unchallenged kindness goes to the one who makes weather mean something, Lori Lizarraga! read more
