Let me just start by saying i absolutly love this place and will be doing business with them whenever i need something!! Here is my experience : My mother opened a new clothing store at the valley plaza April 20th 2018, we had searched for different signage companies and either they couldnt do it because of permits or they wanted us to do everything. So we went to Bakersfield signs/ Kern valley printing and i got to talk to Manuel and we set a date so he could measure where the sign was. He came measured asked me what i wanted what was my idea if we had a logo already and i asked how long would it take and the basic questions. We set a date in which i needed the sign and we went off that. 3 days later he had the logo done and i absolutly loved one which is the one we have and its just so beautiful. When we finally agreed on a sign sarah was really helpful in everything Manuel and her answered all of our questions we had, like when it would be done originally we had it set for the 13th of april but we had to push back as i understand product takes time and as well we werent ready. The staff was also amazing and helpful whenever i called to check on signage or had a question they qere there to answer. So for the installation we had a bit of a miscommunication regarding to the prior sign removal since it use to be Perfume Hut and the sign was there. But the issue was resolved quickly and then installation began april 19th and was put that same day it only took them 3 or 4 hrs to install. I really liked the work they did it came out pretty nice staff was awesome and helpfull definately will come there when i need a sign or poster or anything for printing!! I was recommend to bakersfield signs. They actually have the worst customer service ever. I spoke to Edward about a sign I needed and I was on a deadline. After numerous attempts to get a hold of him I decided to go in person(because he never returned any calls or emails). He did a half ass attempt to help us in fact it looked like we were bothering him. He told me he would have someone come out to measure that same day. Nothing ever happened !! I decided I would use another vendor and decided to go with Vital Signs on rosedale hwy. They came out to measure that same day and in less than a week my sign was up. Should I mention they also do all the work themselves and don't send out to get sign made. They have an amazing crew !!! And I have definitely recommend to everyone from now on !! Extremely disappointing customer service by the owner. I requested work done on a project in person at the store. After almost a month, not ONE phone call to me with regards to the status of my project. I decided to go in person to inquire about the delay after calling numerous times without a returned phone call. I was met with a thoughtless and inconsiderate response from the owner. They lost the original paper they made me fill out in person regarding my project. The owner showed me what they had so far: an incorrect proof. I mentioned the mis-spelling on the proof and was simply told 'we lost the original paper'. No apology and no remedy to the situation was offered. The insensitivity she showed disappoints and saddens me. Extremely unprofessional. I will NEVER recommend Bakersfield Signs to anyone. read more

Bakersfield Sign helped me to install my business sign outside the building. After final approval of the design, it took them 3 days to have the sign put up. The owner promised to set up the LED lights so the sign can be seen at night time. After a week, i realized that the lights were not working. I usually left work before it gets dark (this was done during summer time). I have contacted the owner numerous time and he promised to come and fix it. However, it's been three months and he or his crew never showed up to fix it. So my advice is to not pay off the balance unless everything is working properly because the chance is he will ignore any problems after he got his money. I will not recommend this company to anyone. ordered a 4 x 4 outdoor sign on 4/12/16 with little or no graphic design involved. marquez said it would be ready by 4/22. (10 days, not horrible, not great). by 4/20 i had not received the proof email so i paid him a visit. he said he would send it right over that morning. it never arrived. if it had then maybe the sign would have been ready by 4/29 but who know with this guy.. does not return calls or emails. initially prior to 4/12/16 it took him about 10 days to even get me the estimate. final insult... it took him about 5 secs to charge my card the 50% upfront deposit however it takes 10-12 business days for the refund to show up. for the record invoice # 4953 read more
