She was taught to use two different brushes, how to clean the hooves with a brush, how to put the blanket on her horse, the saddle and the bit. She was careful to explain how yo walk around a horse and what yo do when approaching a horse from behind so as not to startle them. She got to guide the horse out to the wonderful indoor riding arena and she taught her the proper way to mount the horse and she got to ride also. It was a wonderful experience

The park is a great gathering place for families and is usually well attended most good weather evenings. The park has a half court basketball court. It is large enough for a three on three basketball game. Just perfect to practice your shot! Next to the basketball court there is a small skate park. The skate park contains several structures that are equipped with metal tubed perfect for getting your grind on. The park contains a walking trail loop with exits/ entrance on both 159th and 162nd. The trails are about a quarter mile in length and walkers often make a couple of loops to get their steps in. The park has large open spaces. Many people often set up volleyball and badminton courts on the perfectly manicured lawns. For the little ones, the park also has a cute playground equipped with monkey bars, swings, and slides.

The downsides: It is very easy to lose your kid if you aren't hovering (or you have more than one). There is only one bathroom. You cannot bring in snacks of any kind and the snacks they do have aren't very healthy nor are there many options for kids with allergies. If you are GF DF the choice is applesauce or potato chips. Considering they are so concerned about allergies they have signs to wash hands if you've eaten dairy I was a little surprised by all the junk food. It is also very very expensive. $2 for a little bag of chips, for example. I also wish they had discounts for accompanying siblings. The staff was friendly and was cleaning the space the entire time.

City play is a darling place. It seems ideal for kids from maybe as young as 12 months all the way…read moreup to second grade or so. The cute little play stations include a café, a childcare center, a fire station, a veterinary clinic, a grocery store, a school bus, a car repair/gas station and more. The staff here was very thorough and pleasant and highly recommend this place for either a couple of hours of play or a birthday party.
