I was…read moreone of the kids who actually got their dream come true: it was my 5th grade year that the school burnt down. It seemed really awesome at the time: we got two weeks off in the middle of March. But of course, we had to make up for it later, and on top of that, the school was split up different places for the rest of the year while they reconstructed. The 3rd to 5th graders got stuck in a school called Little Flower. It was used mainly for preschoolers, and smelled like a giant diaper pail. They wouldn't let us use their cafeteria, so we had to eat our lunches outside. Doesn't sound terrible until you remember that in March in Ohio there will still be random blizzards. It's not fun to eat your lunch outside in half a foot of snow. We basically didn't learn anything for the rest of the year. When I transferred to Our Lady of the Elms in Akron, I was horribly behind. So behind they stuck me in remedial everything. But hey, it's okay: when I switched to public school my freshman year of high school I was put in advanced everything! Seriously though, even before the school burnt down it wasn't that good. I never learned the capitals. Also, nuns are terrifying, even if they're not trying to be. They also held me back a year (or rather, they wouldn't let me in kindergarten when I should have been) because they "ran out of slots." Uh, what? What hapepned to merit based decisions? This place was/is whack. I'd never send my kids here, that's for sure.

This preschool doesn't adequately treat employees and children. The administration attempts to suck…read moreyou dry with fees at every turn. I enrolled my son in the summer courses and had to pull him because he got ill. I was hit with numerous fees that I was unaware of. The only reason I enrolled my son in the first place was because I knew some of the teachers who worked there at the time. But after the horror stories that these teachers have told me I could never support this business again. Their teacher turnover rate is incredibly high so students don't get consistency in the classroom. With incredibly high tuition costs one would assume that children would be in a consistent and encouraging environment but the administration hampers the development of the company and thus destroys the education of the student.
