And, how to make those perfectly brown garlic bits without burning them? All of these are too complicated for my meager kitchen skills. So what's suitable for vegans and great to pair with the garlic fried rice? They have a stellar mapo tofu dish (omit meat, chicken powder, you know the drill) that just complements the rice in both taste and texture.
