I'm going to go right out here and say it: I only love Kowloon house for its butchi, nothing else. It's the best place for me to get a quick fix whenever I'm in a butchi craving. Because though Chinese food is at the bottom of my "Cuisines to Eat" list, I really adore Chinese desserts like buchi. I was really disappointed eating the Chowking buchi because you pay P40 for two little pieces of butchi. No, thanks. In -Kowloon house, it's P65 for three giant pieces of butchi, served hot and fresh and oily just the way I love it.
They also have a really wide and varied menu, you can get all your standard Chinese fare at Kowloon House. I didn't like their siopao though, it was mostly meat fat and so I spent most of my time eating it picking out the filling. But all in all, a good place to grab a quick meal or order some great butchi. read more
