She has a sweet style herself and always answers questions about the clothes and jewelry. I have a ton of questions because there is a huge selection. On the first Saturday of each month, they participate in a special event and have free bites and drinks in the back section of the shop, so I always make sure to stop in then. They also have a small vinyl collection and I found a sweet Cannonball Adderley record there. I'm a sucker for vintage jazz records and they have a nice smattering from American and Kansas City greats. If you are in the area, it's a must do.

Very…read morelaid back- you know how hard it is for a business to make the customer feel unhurried and unpressured, yet also confident in prompt and friendly assistance if and when needed? That was definitely the vibe here. And hey, awfully neat stuff. I know the couple behind the place a little and they are quite the St. Joe entrepreneurs. It's pretty well impossible to respond to knowing Amy and Brian Meyers at all without resorting to just rooting all out for them to succeed at their mission of revitalizing downtown St. Joe. But you know how there are places you WANT to like and root for and all that but... yeah, they aren't places you would take someone from out of town, right? Well, I took my fiance from New Zealand to The Lucky Tiger and was so glad I did. Not just a great little local business, but lots and lots of stuff that looked very good to both of us. So I would recommend a browse- what have you got to loose except some guilt over contributing to Wal Mart?

Now, the store itself is nice, clean, charming, and has very kind employees, but for me the magic is downstairs. Head down into the basement and you'll find coolers with a nice selection of local brews, some comfy furniture to hang out on, and a TV that will likely have whatever sporting event is currently going on, on display. There are also some antiques for sale down there, and several games available to play if you want to hang out. It kind of feels like visiting a really cool friend that happens to have some industry standard fridges in their basement. I almost always forget this exists until I happen upon it again, but if you're in the area around happy hour, I think this spot would be an amazing place to start out a night in Weston.

Amazon.com had a huge bunch of cheap Indonesian knock-offs for sale and they all looked low quality. Eventually, we perfected our search and up popped Celtic Ranch. Ordering the correct size is difficult, and the cheap apparel from southeast Asia, is made for people who are quite a bit smaller height-wise. So I ordered some items and quickly determined what size worked for me, so I sent some items back for the correct size. One item I ordered off Amazon and it was a bit convoluted to do a return, but dealing directly with Celtic Ranch was a dream. I was able to get an RMA and within days the correct sizes were shipped! All of the items, from the vests to the scarf, to the hat and grandfather shirts are high quality and are durable. Not only do I want to order more items for me and my lass, but if we're ever in the neighborhood we want to pop in to the store and say hello! Great job, Celtic Ranch. You do the Irish proud!

This little shop is adorable, with so much to see. The staff were super helpful, letting me try on a bunch of hats until I found the one that was just right. I'll definitely be back next year for another one. If you're ever in Weston, make sure to check it out!
