Best sushi in the area! There's a lot of bad restaurants in the slakthus area, but I'm happy to…read morereport a good sushi stop right by the tele2 arena. Beyond sushi, you will find bibimbap, and some Thai dishes on the menu. The entire menu is a small selection of quality dishes! It refreshing to find a short, and to the point menu in a genre which often puts way too many options on the table. Pricing is fair! Staff are friendly! Don't miss this spot for a quick refuel before hitting the local scene. There is also a good selection of Sake, along with a couple of wines and beer.

The food here was good, but it was the service that was impeccable. Few places achieve attentive…read moreservice without the slightest hint of snobbery, but Nook does it. Our waiter, whose name I forget, patiently explained the menu to us, gave us wine recommendations (any wine they have by the bottle is also available by the glass), and kept communicating between me and the kitchen regarding my allergies. Was it okay if the pork was marinated in garlic and onion but there were no pieces? Was I lactose intolerant or lactoprotein intolerant? Wow - I didn't even know the difference myself. Now, onto the food. I had the 380kr set menu, and my boyfriend had the 420kr set menu. I would describe the place as Asian fusion. - Salmon: Wow! Baked ever so slightly so that it is still basically raw, it just melts in your mouth like butter and meshes perfectly with the eggplant puree and roe. The fried fish skin chips were also a nice addition. - Pork loin: Now, I think it was because they had to cook the pork completely differently to accomodate my allergies, but I found it a little rough and way too salty. Maybe the normal pork loin that they serve is better. - Dessert: Not many comments here. Chocolate sorbet was very good. Portions definitely run on the smaller side though, so order some snacks from their menu to go with your set dinner. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in Stockholm.
Diskret exteriör.

Good cocktail and sashimi - not so cozy atmosphere. The…read morecocktail menu is interesting and daring, offering twists on old classics as well as novel invention. The sashimi is very authentic and delectable. The exception is the reindeer which is neither good nor necessary. The desserts are, as in most Asian restaurants, not the main attraction. Instead, a mix of sashimi and smaller dishes works very well here. The overall mood of the restaurant is a bit hectic, but nothing that really subtracts from the food experience. 2-3 of their small dishes are sufficient for a good evening meal. It is reasonably priced and the service is standard Scandinavian.

You order and pay right away, we got the "Dumplings and rice" and the "Green bowl". Both were delicious! The dumplings and rice had big slices of super tender pork, pickled cucumber, rice, soy mayonnaise, spicy cabbage and huge dumplings. Lots of flavor and so tasty! The green bowl was smoked creamy polenta, beets, crispy corn, Brillat Savarin and brussel sprouts. Lovely! We finished with the dessert of the year! (Pretty close anyway) Maple syrup créme brûlée with soy, browned butter and crispy rye bread. F R E A K I N F A N T A S T I C! Almost brought tears in my eyes. This is next to their acclaimed sister restaurant Adam & Albin, one of the best dinner experiences you can find in this city. At night Tvätteriet turns into a cooking studio and dinner venue for parties up to 30. Service was a bit reserved but professional. FYI- don't bring your stroller here, you can't have it next to the table and they do not have any chairs for babies.

So I finally decided to take my lazy ass across the park & go to Miss Voon, figuring that since I…read morewalk by it nearly every day, that I should try it. Wow. Just....wow! The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of the Buddha Bar in Paris, and it has the same cool vibe with music to complement it. Snygging and I had to get our own drinks from the bar and nibblies were extra, which wasn't auspicious. But the bartender was very friendly & helpful, and the hostess sat us in a prompt and very friendly manner (make sure you make a reservation). Our waiter was very friendly, and very helpful with suggestions not just on choices of dishes, but wine pairing too. Then the food arrived. Gorgeous! Then we tasted it. Oh. My. God! We both started making moaning noises almost as soon as the first bites hit our palates (she started with the truffle dumplings, and I started with the Fjord Salmon). I mean, honestly...other patrons were staring at us like we were up to something under the table. It was that good. Ambrosiac! Then on to the Ox Rib Tempura (more moaning), the Lamb Racks (GTFO!!), and the Lobster Tacos (porn noises). I also had the Tuna Fritters, which, while delicious, didn't measure up to the other dishes... Which were insanely, deliciously good! I read another reviewer saying that it deserved a Michelin star, and I absolutely agree. Miss Voon is expensive, but it is worth every penny. If you have to choose between paying your taxes or eating here, well... the choice is obvious to me. Going back again tonight. Probably this weekend too.

The dishes are super tasty, delicately prepared and small...and small sizes is great, as it enables me to get a few bites of everything. The way I like it as I am used to that kind of dining from Japan. Every single dish I have tried have been outstanding. The flavours are very refined, varied and unique. Definitely an artform few chefs master. Cocktails...ahhh, I tried 'Stranger in Moscow' and that was it. Hooked...for good or for bad! Deserts...here you can try any and they will be mouth watering. But somehow I go back to the mochi ice-cream. Sweet and simple! Now for the ambience... Book a table in advance. It is often fully booked and especially the weekends you could have to wait until 10pm to get a seat if you come without a booking at 6.30pm like I did. The tables, although pretty closely placed to each other manage to keep privacy due to design. The service is always good...although some due seem to hesitate speaking English. But that is fine...I speak Swedish too :) Otherwise...just request an English speaking waiter/waitress from the very beginning. My number one pick for where to bring VIP guests for a cosy treat and when I want a good treat myself. I would go back at least once every visit to Stockholm. Don't miss it!

They don't have raw salmon, to one of my colleague's chagrin, and their ribs were not what we had expected - sweet and sour pork ribs that were left unfinished. I think this is a fantastic place for after work drinks or a date. It's just bright enough for you to read the menu and see each other, but just dark enough that the your pores and pimples are well-hidden. If you are someone who is here for the food - it's not bad but i wouldn't go out of my way.
