Chris was very professional and friendly. He called me when the table and chairs arrived which was happily a little quicker than expected. He set up delivery on a Sunday and gave us a time frame. The delivery man arrived within the expected time frame and was very careful in putting it in place and setting it up. Very happy with the whole experience and will definitely buy from there again.

She will tell you a made up (higher) price than the item is actually tagged for. Then when you find the tag with the correct price she gets snippy. It's a consignment store, yet she doesn't let you take home items to try out first. And she will hold items that have been sitting in the store forever because "a decorator was interested in it".

They have an excellent selection and yeah, you're not buying high-end furniture so you have to take that an account. So the chairs had a little imperfections on them that were minor but they did send somebody over within a week who was able to fix the minor cosmetic issues to our satisfaction so I give them that too. The sales person informed me that the manager was more knowledgeable about the bedroom furniture and he could assist me more. When the manager arrived on the selling floor, he along with the other sales person assisted the other customer, leaving me standing there without any assistance. Is this how EQ treats their customers? I contacted customer service regarding the poor quality of service I received. I am disappointed in the treatment from the Norwalk EQ3 store.

So off we went. To our very pleasant t surprises Finn, our 1 year old rescue was not just "allowed" but WELCOMED. Greeted by not less than three sales associates! Even the floor manager came but came by and took Finn's picture for their welcome board. This wonderful experience carried over to helping choose the right purchase. The worst customer service ever. We went to the Westport store on April 12 and ordered a kettle…read morethey didn't have in stock. It arrived April 30 and we were informed that the order would be cancelled after 5 days. May 5, five days later, we went to the Westport store to pick up the kettle. The order had been cancelled; apparently, the kettle vanished, we couldn't even buy the display item. I called the Westport store about a refund to my card; I was given a 1 800 number to call. I called that number and was referred back to the Westport store. I called the Westport store and, admittedly, lost my cool a bit, but was told by an associate, "This is not my problem." Um, this is your problem because you work for Crate & Barrel, am I correct? I was hung up on. I received a voicemail in return, and when I called back, was hung up on again. I worked for C&B ages ago in San Francisco, and if I'd displayed such customer service demeanor, I would have been seriously reprimanded, if not sacked.
