I started going to Restoration Medspa August 2023. I came in crying because of how bad my eczema…read morewas. The eczema had left my face with scars and looking much older than I am. Ashley and Rose took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel so comfortable. Ashley and Rose spoke with other employees and as a team they came up with a treatment plan that included laser spot treatments as well as different types of facials specifically catered to my needs. Rose did a basic facial on that first visit to see how my skin would react and recommend some skin care for me to use at home. My facial was very relaxing and while I was in there, Rose continue to ask me questions about my condition to get further clarification. Ashely scheduled a laser visit for me within the week. Fast forward to April 2024. My skin is unrecognizable. While I have started a new eczema treatment that doesn't really work on my face, what is the most shocking is how young I look. When I tell people that I am going to be 40 or that I have a 17 year-old daughter they just laugh and say there's no possible way. I no longer have pores that are visible. My complexion is smooth has very few wrinkles. The majority of the scarring is gone. The laser treatments that Ashley has given me has completely given me my confidence back. What I really love about Ashley is that while I am in the office visit with her, she will give me honest advice about Botox and Cool Sculpt and other services that they offer in the spa. After seeing Ashley for almost a year, I trust her opinion. Thank you Ashley. I never feel any pressure to make purchases while I am there, but yet I feel like all of the staff gives me honest advice and allows me to make my own decisions. They have even told me that certain things are not going to be the best treatment option for me and I respect that so much. A lot of people will sell you anything just to make money but I feel like they truly put my health concerns first and foremost. Rose is no longer there and Charisse is now doing my facials. Charisse is absolutely amazing. Charisse has done HydraFacials, and Oxygen Facials on me. She has the order of the facials down to a science to get me the best benefits. I have also done Dermaplaning with Charisse to get rid of facial hair and eyebrow shaping. Charisse also gives me advice on at home care and I feel like that has made a world of difference for me as well. I recently had my first chemical peel, which Charisse suggested to do directly after getting the laser spot treatment. When I went to work that weekend, my manager stopped me and asked me why my face was glowing the way that it was. My manager said she has never seen my skin look so good and she knew the struggle that I have with my complexion and skin. For the first time in my entire life, I have been taking pictures and videos without any kind of filter. While this may not seem like a big deal to some people for me , it is. I have never been confident in my own skin. After getting the Alle app on my phone to save money and get coupons, I got a coupon for Botox. The same day that I got the coupon I met with Marisa spoke with me about some of my concerns, including wrinkles, as well as something that I had heard about masseter Botox. I had heard that it will make your face on her however she said it was more for people who clinched their jaws a lot, and put a lot of strain on their teeth as well as their jaws. Marisa allowed me to feel her jaws and then mine. Wow. Mine were like golf balls and hers were flat. I decided to go with some injections in my masseters and a little under the eyes. Marisa started small with my jaw Botox and was honest that I may need more but didn't want to charge me for more until she saw the results. I could tell a little difference in my jaws before my complementary three week check up. However my under eyes look well rested and full. The skin didn't look as wrinkled and I just looked younger and bright eyed. During my three week check up Marisa decided that we would go with a little more Botox and my jaws but she would not allow me to put any more under my eyes. Once again, this shows you how particular this team is when they make recommendations. After getting another round of Botox in my jaws, I have nothing there. My jaws are smooth and have no bulges. My cheekbones look so full and I am convinced it is due to my jaws being slimmer. I haven't even been back for my three week check up yet. I appreciate these ladies so much for making me feel beautiful on the outside. I found Ma'ati Spa online and was pleased, initially, because they show diversity in their images on the website. They were also offering serious discounts, so I was able to book online: a couples massage package for my mom and aunt and a massage+ for myself. I called to schedule the appointment and had no problem in after Christmas on short notice. Pros: Staff was very friend, helpful, accommodating, and skilled. Not everyone is a chatterbox (my aunt enjoyed having her services explained; my mom enjoyed the quiet). The deep tissue massage with Dominic is BOMB! Get that. I found the decor lovely and want to visit in the summer so I can enjoy the outside area. Street parking was free and plentiful. Cons: They don't offer robes and slippers for every guest, which was off-putting for my mom. The facial steam is so-so. I think it's free, but I wouldn't pay for it. The foot reflexology was uninspired. It just felt like a foot massage and I was expecting something more from the description online. The music in the waiting area can get a little loud, if you are having a service in the front room, and throw off the mellow vibe. Tips: If you go during the winter, do NOT get a mud body wrap! I thought mud = warm. NO! The clay is cold, the room I was in was cold and I was freezing while she applied the mud (even when they turned the heat up). It was incredibly uncomfortable and I would not recommend it during cold-winter months. (2) Find out where you should report for your appointment. There are two entrances and it's disconcerting to enter at the top level, have wine and a face stream and then go back out into the cold to get to the lower level for the services. (3) There is no ramp on the walkway down to the lower level, so watch your step! (4) Tipping! I didn't know how much customary. I was told 10%. I tipped more (since the services were offered at a discount anyway and my mom and aunt enjoyed themselves). Verdict: I will definitely visit again and may make this an annual thing for my mom and aunt It was an excellent, well-received gift. I too, purchased a Groupon for a Couples Massage a solid 4-5 months ago, and the earliest available appointment was December (which I learned after calling and leaving messages 4-5 times). Anywho, we scheduled for today. Our appointment was at 6pm, and about 5:30 I received a text saying they were running 20 mins late. At least they provided a heads up, but was super annoying when I had already left work early due to their time constraints. We arrived after 6, to be informed "your appointment was at 6." Clearly The girl who checked us in had no idea about the text. We were told to sit in the lobby, an older lady put a tray if hot towels in between us, she said to let them cool. She came back a few minutes later asking if we had neck tension or wanted a hot towel on our necks, we said yes and she informed us "you should've done that when I brought the towels over". We waited for a bit for our massage, and they took us to their "lower level"-out the front door and through the alley. We were given a room with the bathroom connected, which was nice. I explained that my right shoulder was super tight. I was only given a poor quality sheet-no blanket or bed warmer and it was so cold. The masseuse squirted the oil directly on to me instead of in his hands first. He did nothing to work out the tension in my shoulder-I think at times he had no clue what to do. Our one hour massage (that was late) lasted about 40 minutes. We were then offered aromatherapy that takes "about 3 extra minutes". We agreed to do that...the water took 7-8 minutes to warm up, then we had probably 2 minutes to enjoy it. We still tipped appropriately, but I'll stick to my Massage Envy membership and won't return for another visit. I hope they treat their non-Groupon folks much better.

After over a year of being quiet I feel the need to speak up to eliminate the possibility of…read moresomeone being in my position. I called to schedule filler consult for my under eyes and the receptionist ( I wish I could remember her name) was such a sweetheart! They were able to get me in fairly quickly! The downside is Dr. Summer. She came in and already had selected the filler we were going to use. She did not discuss why she chose that filler or anything about it. In her defense, I should've asked. But I was trusting in her. We move onto the procedure and she used the canula technique to minimize bruising however she jabbed it into my under eye, she said it was difficult to get it in bc I had thicker tissue in that area - which is not the reason it hurt. My new doctor has done my under eyes twice, both pain free. I get faint around needles sometimes so I was starting to feel faint and hot and I let her and the assistant know. The assistant was a brunette woman who was very kind and patient. She got me an ice pack and reclined me. However, Dr. Summers rushed me to recover. I was still hot and faint when I gave her the OK to proceed since she seemed to be in a hurry. This experience was traumatic. I was on the verge of crying between feeling faint, nauseous, and rushed by Dr. Summers. After the visit I enjoyed my under eye look! No more tired right? Well yeah no more tired but what about the blue and yellow bruising that never went away? My new doctor informed me my bruising never went away bc my under eye area was over filled and I should've used a filler that was less dense. My new doctor is Dr. Dulce Mascariñas and she dissolved the filler placed by Dr. Summers and a month later refilled my eyes with half a syringe and then finished the remaining product another month later. Thanks to her I finally look refreshed. I do not think Dr. summers is a bad doctor. Maybe she was having a bad day, we all do. However the care I received is NOT one I ever desire to have again. Always ask your Dr why and what filler they are going to use. And do not let them push you to recover from fainting. I've had a few cosmetic procedures and have never experienced anything like this.
