Food was of a good quality and as shown on their website an assortment of salads, precooked dishes (really good) and great quality meats for your BBQ. A new initiative they are doing is offering to grill a piece of steak and 3 ribs for each customer out back on the big grill to speed up the process. I will give them that. I don't know if that's how they do here in Australia or just at this particular restaurant. Our meals came out in an appropriate amount of time. I ordered the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap and it was pretty tasty. Not the best I have ever had but filled the craving. We also had the No. 22 with chicken and rice and spicy seafood soup. The ladies are now fans of Korean food! :) The water they served us was really nice and ice cold. The service will come to you if you need them but they won't really bother you. When you're ready to go, you just come to the counter and pay there. After going to eat here, my roommate and I discussed Korean food. A recent rise on new Korean restaurants…read more Bull Bar has come to my enlightenment after I crossed Elizabeth Street and my university friends have no clues on which restaurant to choose for dinner. But luckily, they are with someone who never scares to try new food in a new restaurant. And that 'someone' is me! As approaching to Bull Bar, there are actually staircases to the beneath restaurant...quite adventurous... Anyway, we looked at the menu and the staffs are very friendly to all of us. The interior decor may appear simple but less is more I guess. And it's kinda fit into my eyes. We decided to go for this cheesy dish (photo). It was HEAVENLY DELICIOUS! I'm sure that sounds like it would be obvious as the place was a Korean eatery, but not all places taste like the country they claim. These wings came with fries as well. The only thing I'd change, aside from the reception was probably less sour cream. A touch was nice, but there was a rather large glob of it and I had excess upon finishing the wings and fries. For anyone wanting to try, and you should, the wings are plenty to fill you up. I almost had to tap out.

The meal came out quite quickly and I was impressed with the freshness of the hot battered pork chop. There was ample rice and tastily gluey curry sauce. There's plenty on the menu that has piqued my interest. There's also a sushi train with dishes ranging from $3-8. I'll be coming back to venture beyond good old reliable Japanese curry.

I was a little disappointed in the portion size; I have become accustomed to the extremely generous portions served at most of the restaurants in Sunnybank and thought Chinatown would be similar. This might not be a fair criticism, as I have a pretty big appetite coupled with the fact that I hadn't eaten lunch that day, so it's likely I would have been disappointed with anything less than the whole cow. I tucked in and sadly I was disappointed again. The flavour was lovely but it just wasn't strong enough for my taste. My dish also came served with a small bowl of rice, as did all the mains. I'm fairly sure this wasn't the correct way to eat it but I improvised and threw the rice in my soup, making a thicker concoction and I'm sure any staff watching me glower in disapproval.
