Read the one star review on here, you can see that it's from a cheap person looking for a handout instead of scheduling an appointment. You want good service? PAY FOR IT! Don't think that a physician is here to do you a favor. Furthermore, don't assume that they're willing to risk malpractice for writing a script without performing an evaluation. That's just foolish. When I attempted to do this several times, I was met with a great amount of resistance, rude attitudes, and eventually told that I would have to schedule an appointment to pick up prescriptions. Ultimately this resulted in my having to spend hundreds of dollars to go to a travel clinic because of this office's incompetence and lack of patient support. Very disappointing service.

She practices at the Clarus Center. I'm reviewing Rebecca here, at the Clarus Center page, as there isn't a Yelp page for her business, TLAR Physical Therapy. You can go to Rebecca's website, www.tlarpt.com to learn more about her extensive training and professional experience, but really, all you need to know is Rebecca is a genius and certainly the most gifted and intuitive therapist I've ever met. And I've known and worked with many therapists in the past 30 years, as I'm a PT myself, and someone who has dealt with pain on and off for 19 years. I'm currently an oncology patient, with chronic pain related to surgeries and cancer medication side effects... and then I fell through my back porch 5 weeks ago and did a number on my body! Ooof! My husband set up the appointment for me. Just went on the website and clicked the day/time, and he even paid for my visit! He's been seeing Rebecca for a PT himself and highly recommended I see her for my pain. He buys treatment packages in advance and then I submit a super bill to our insurance. Friday morning at 8:45, my pain was 8/10 and I hadn't slept soundly since the porch fall. Waking 10 times a night. I walked out at 9:45, totally calm and nearly pain-free for the first time in months. I sat in my car contemplating if I could just go home and rest peacefully for 48 hours!! I felt so peaceful and relieved to have found Rebecca. I'm headed back on Monday and I am counting the hours. She is truly that good!! I don't know any of the other providers at the Clarus Center. In fact, I think I was the only customer there at the time. It seemed super quiet, maybe due to COVID. I'll post a photo of all the different providers. Oh, bring & wear your mask. Take your temp at home before arriving. Complete hand washing before entering. Leave your shoes outside the room. Thanks!

I left a message that I would like an appointment and Dr. Johnson called me to ask which doctor…read morereferred me. I said I found her online searching for a doctor who understands low carb and would give me a comprehensive health eval and do extra blood tests that 99% of other doctors don't do. Also, I'm getting older and I suspect I have inflammation. She spoke a bit about what she does. It was what I was looking for. She mentioned her fee and I was ok with the fee. Then she said she only takes referrals from doctors because "most people don't understand what she does". If she just stopped her sentence at "only takes referrals from doctors" I would have thanked her and the conversation would have ended. But I replied that I do understand what she does and that I have a lot of knowledge about low carb and have done it on and off for years and have had success in weight loss and felt better. But I didn't stick with it because of my lifestyle and now in my 50's I have inflammation and I want to work with a doctor like her. She said she disagreed with me about why I didn't stick to low carb as if she has any clue about me, my health and life. She rambled on and kept pushing me for a doctors name even after I said I didn't have one. So thinking maybe it would help, I revealed a minor health issue I had in 2016 and how that doctor (I mentioned that doctor by name) told me to go low carb. She immediately started talking so she had no idea what I did and didn't do for treatment and what results were of tests I had back then in regard to this issue and that I have had no issues with it since. The conversation went on for a while and it was a jumbled mess. She was all over the place with her words. She spoke erratically. There was nothing linear about our conversation. She called me "obese". I never told her my height and weight but she probably took an educated guess thinking from a BMI perspective I am considered "obese". That's true but visually speaking I am overweight but I do not look obese. I'm not even in plus size clothing. It was totally unnecessary for her to call me obese in this conversation. Then she told me to go to any ol' MD, which is exactly what I don't want. I remember her saying the word "bariatric" in her mess of words and then she said that I need to get on pharmaceuticals and HRT. I said I want a doctor who will use nutrition and supplements first and see how it goes. She said it wouldn't be possible for me to do that and be successful with my health. She said this to me with minimal information about me and no lab work. I was shocked how a doctor who presents herself on her website as using food, fasting and supplements for health just wanted to pawn me off on any ol' MD and get on pharmaceuticals and HRT. I have read a ton of books and listened to a lot of podcasts on low carb, keto, carnivore and fasting. I know a lot can be corrected without drugs and HRT. And her website leads you to think she knows this too. Finally she sounded as if she had enough of dealing with me and wrapped up the conversation pushing me away and wishing me well in my health (something like that, it was a crazy whirlwind) and I literally stood there mouth agape at the appalling manner in which this doctor handled this entire conversation. Her site says her protocols "are designed to prevent the onset of chronic diseases and limit the progression of aging." Judging by her very comprehensive website I should have been a shoo-in for this doctor. But no. Something is very "off" about her. Update: Just looked at the facebook page for her practice. She claims she stands with "science" and that fraud Fauci. She actually believes "testing" with that fake PCR test means anything. She's masked up like a c0v-id cult freak in a few photos. She is decked out in these things. LOL She's a conventional medical industrial complex MD who just happens to follow a low carb/keto diet. I dodged a bullet.
