While my shopping experience was quick and productive, I have to admit that I only came here because I had a giftcard and would probably not come back without one since their inventory is prohibitively expensive for someone in my tax bracket. I buy almost of my kitchen equipment and accessories online or abroad, but in a pinch this is a good place to look.

Don't forget to go in their basement, there are lots more things down there to look at. Their ground floor is dishware, pots and pans. But downstairs is more home things, tools, electronic items. It does not seem as organized or nicely displayed as the ground floor, but you will find what you need and the staff will try to help you.

You can find so many different things down here such as plates, knives, kitchen towels, cutting boards, pans and so on. This is definitely my go to section! I can easily spend way too much time down here looking at everything. This is actually the only place I go to buy kitchen towels! I absolutely love them! They have tons of different colors to choose from, and they're really great quality! I also love coming here to buy their mason jars (I use them as cups with straws). the last time i was here, i don't have any particularly good memories except that it was crowded…read morefrom all the people trying to exchange christmas gifts. but this time the store was less packed and the ladies working there were very polite and helpful. i had a 2-year-old, nasty, crumpled receipt with credit which they happily accepted and they gift-wrapped my purchase nicely. the only thing i don't like about this store is that there is way too much stuff for the size of the place. it is just jam-packed with boxes which makes it hard to move around with a winter coat or a large bag but on the bright side they will probably not have run out of the item you are looking for.

I was happy to see that the prices here are actually quite reasonable. They have a great selection of kitchen, house, living, gardening and office items. I've bought some pots for plants (19kr each), Weck jars (20-29kr each - same price or lower than some grocery stores), and a few small kitchen items. There is a nice mixed of Danish brands and other brands. The store staff is nice and wrap up your breakable products in cardboard paper when you make a purchase. I've had to do a return at one point and they were equally pleasant.

Payed more than 2.000 euros on various household items, out of which a 1.000 euros bed which when I…read morecame home and assembled in 4 hours, noticed it is defective. Called customer support and apparently they had to send a person to see it, person who was available in 2 weeks (!!!). I kindly said that this is not acceptable, and since I have problems with a bed, they should prioritize accordingly. With complete arrogance they said that I have a mattress to sleep on. After two weeks the 'guy' came and said that indeed the bed is defective and that he will report back. After 5 days, I got another call from the joke of a customer service from IKEA saying that they will replace the entire bed. I said ok, but you have to provide delivery and assemble the new bed, since it was not my fault that the product is defective. After several min of arguing, they said to be thankful that they are bringing the new bed over... I said ok fine, and before hanging up, I was kindly told to dismount the old one :) Long story short, IKEA has horrible customer service and this was the last straw. I will file a complaint for causing me incredible stress and for the mockery I was being put through for an entire month. I will never buy their products ever again. I won't tell you not to buy from them, just be very careful since they clearly don't value their clients at all.
