I've been here before and thought in the past that there was a lot of vintage décor, such as Coca Cola soda shop displays, from the 50s and 60s. While lovely to look at and reminisce, it's not something I display in my home. I'm primitive antique all the way. So I was very pleased to find a lot of antiques here, fairly priced and none or very little of the soda shop décor seen in previous visits. Some reproductions but enough antiques to make picky ole me happy. (I don't see the point in reproductions if I can find the 'real deal'. Reproductions are generally more expensive than the real thing.) What I was amazed to find, which I purchased to take home, was bunches of real, dried tobacco. They had some awesome tobacco baskets, real and reproduction. I'd just found a real one, the big size, last year so to find real dried tobacco to hang on it was amazing. I saw other things I want so I will be returning fairly soon to make other purchases. This shop is easy to find, right down the road from the Outlets of Gettysburg, and has two floors of cool stuff to enjoy browsing. Plenty of parking in their private lot. You should go a couple blocks further down and enjoy good food and desserts at Dutterer's while you're at it.

She was friendly and very helpful. The store is large with a wonderful selection of antiques, primitives, furniture and more. My mom and I loved everything! Booths arranged nicely, with a little bit of everything. I believe this was an open house weekend so they even provided a nice selection of snacks and coffee and most of the booths had sale prices. Anyway, the Antique Center here is always a stop for Wifey and me. We don't always walk away with something, but we always WANT to walk away with something. Wifey collects those blue Spode plates (well, they don't have to be Spode, but the plates with the blue imaging) and we found a great one the last time we were there. I also found a WWII-era 82nd Airborne patch that I couldn't walk away from...so I didn't. You can find some bargains here - but there's also some overpriced stuff as well. Great shop. The only big downside is since they are all in locked cases, you may have to wait for a staff member to come around and unlock the cases. Close to closing town, they seemed a little annoyed/rushing to unlock cases. I would recommend not coming close to closing (was unaware when this was until they announced it) or when it's not crowded if you want to peruse items closer.
