A few months ago I suffered from something terrible that I did not know what was causing my…read moresymptoms. So through word of mouth from other specialists I was told to look into a neurologist. So with a quick google search brought me to Comprehensive Neurology Services. I went through with scheduling an appointment with Amanda Golden, Neurology PA. When I went for my first appointment back in August I walked into the building and I instantly had bad vibes from the building. She wanted me to get a few tests done to rule out other possibilities. She eventually diagnosed me with Post Concussional Syndrome so she then prescribed me with a prescription I had a few follow up appointments with her. Then someone had mentioned that I should see a TBI specialist and I reached out to Amanda Golden and she told me that she had a specialist in the office she worked in. So I finally was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Raffiq. So I go in for my appointment on 1/13 at 9am. I get called back to a room. Dr. Raffiq finally comes into the room shortly after. He tells me that he wants to increase my medication to 3 pills a day (which mind you is a prescription to help with concussions symptoms). His cell phone then rings and he tells me it's the hospital calling so he answers it on speaker phone discussing another patients personal information around. He finally gets off the phone 5 minutes later. He then starts going on about my blood pressure being too high and this and that and that my symptoms are from my high blood pressure. I tried explaining to him I have seen many doctors and had my blood pressure taken a lot though 2025. Which I had these symptoms back then. And I was never told that my blood pressure was extremely high, just that it might be high and when they would check it again it would be fine. But Dr. Raffiq really believes that my symptoms are from my high blood pressure. I tried explaining it to him that I had these symptoms way beforehand and never was told this. He then had no knowledge of anything even with being seen there with the notes in my file, he had zero knowledge of why I was there seeing him. We got into a somewhat heated argument because he would not listen to what I had to say. He then concluded my appointment with him short. Mind you I already had to wait 5 minutes of my appointment time when he was on the phone with the hospital. I don't understand why he wanted to increase my medication for concussion symptoms IF he didn't believe it had anything to do with concussion symptoms. If you are looking for a neurologist or a TBI specialist I would not recommend Dr. Raffiq to anybody! Also, you can't get through to the office you get outsourced to a call center overseas which should have been a Hugh red flag to me from the beginning. But I was in desperate need for treatment at the time that I went with this office. I. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

Review for Dr. Neil Waravdekar at Frederick Medical & Pulmonary Associates…read moreDate of Visit: September 29, 2025 Rating: 1 out of 5 Stars (Abysmal and Unethical) My experience with Dr. Neil Waravdekar at Frederick Medical & Pulmonary Associates was not only a complete waste of my time and resources but also unveiled what I believe to be a serious case of fraudulent medical record-keeping aimed at inflating charges. I urge all potential patients to be extremely cautious. Fabricated Medical Records and Misrepresentation of Care The Progress Note documented after my visit is a deliberate fabrication that fails to accurately reflect the brief, negligent encounter I had with the doctor. False Physical Examination: The record falsely states that Dr. Waravdekar performed a "comprehensive body examination." This is unequivocally untrue. The doctor performed only a brief cardiac and pulmonary (heart and lungs) check. No other body system was evaluated, making the documented exam a severe and unethical misrepresentation of the clinical service provided. Irresponsible Psychological Diagnosis: The documentation under "Psychological Evaluation" is medically negligent and appalling. After a mere five-minute encounter, Dr. Waravdekar concluded that I "do not have depression or anxiety." This conclusion is completely invalid given my history: I have been under the continuous, long-standing care of a psychiatrist and a therapist for the past seven years, with twice-weekly sessions. The attempt to rule out serious, chronic mental health conditions in such a cursory and unfounded manner is deeply troubling and appears to be manufactured solely to justify a more complex and expensive billing code (likely submitted to Medicare). Unacceptable Lack of Service and Professionalism I scheduled this appointment specifically for severe insomnia. I explicitly informed the front desk staff that I needed treatment for persistent sleep issues and already possessed a CPAP machine, making the reason for my visit clear. Despite this, within five minutes of speaking with Dr. Waravdekar, he dismissed me, stating he could not help and that he "only deals with CPAP issues," instructing me to see a specialist. This suggests gross incompetence by the office staff, who failed to properly triage my stated needs to align with the physician's admitted scope of practice, resulting in a wasted appointment and unwarranted billing. Lack of Accountability and Failure to Correct Records I formally requested the immediate and complete correction of this fraudulent progress note within seven business days of my visit. The practice has failed to comply. Furthermore, on October 13, 2025, I called the practice and spoke with the Office Manager, Kim, who provided an alarming response. She stated that "no one in the practice has an oversight of Doctor Neil, as they own the business." This statement demonstrates a shocking lack of accountability and suggests that Dr. Waravdekar operates without supervision, facilitating the creation of fraudulent medical records with impunity. Next Steps Due to the practice's failure to correct the fraudulent medical record, and the admission that they lack oversight of the physician, I am proceeding with my promised actions. I will not pay the bill for this negligent visit. I am reporting the false diagnosis and the entire fabricated report--which I view as a blatant and likely widespread scheme to fraudulently inflate charges to Medicare--to both the Medicare Anti-Fraud Unit and the State Medical Board. I encourage anyone who has experienced similar issues with Dr. Waravdekar or this practice to come forward. Future patients deserve to be warned about this unacceptable standard of care and deceptive billing practice.

I was furious. Knowing how I sleep, think alligator in a death roll, I knew I was not a candidate for a CPAP, and I also didn't want to be burdened by the costs and maintenance that the machine demands. So, I started looking for a better option and managed to learn about oral appliances for sleep apnea. On my first visit, Dr. Parmar spent the time necessary to explain apnea and more importantly what my results were and what they meant. I was finally being treated like someone with a brain who deserved answers and explanations. An exam, photos and scan (so cool) followed as the first steps toward treating my apnea and freedom. Dr. Parmar was patient even though I wasn't the best patient at first. The adjustment and pulse-ox tests were annoying the first time around. I went back after I broke my device (it did a triple lindy in off the sink) had it sent off for a repair and as it had been 3 years repeated the sleep study and ordered a new device. I now have a backup should something happen, which was nice as the new device broke in short order due to a design issue. My 2nd sleep study, adjustments, and pulse-ox tests all went much better than the first time, the devices were smaller, had fewer wires and were much easier to use. My oral appliance is easy to care for, just brush it and soak once a week, it's easy and comfortable to use, and most importantly it works based on both the pulse-ox study and my wife's lack of complaints about snoring when I use it. Easy to pack and travel with, no issues with TSA unlike a friend who has his CPAP disassembled each flight.

Fantastic service by the staff and Dr Parmar, I believe they care for you and your well-being…read more Since receiving my dental device I don't snore anymore, wake up feeling better, and use it, unlike the CPAP device that I tried.

Our baby is sleeping 11 hours at night with no wake-ups, with 3 hours of naps with clockwork consistent timing. I truly believed our son was just on the very low end of the sleep needs range. At 10 months old, he was still going to bed late, waking 2-4 times a night, and waking up early in the morning. We read a lot online about sleep routines and optimization of the sleep environment. We tried non-stimulating activities before bedtime. We tried "drowsy but awake". Nothing made an appreciable difference. It felt like we'd tried everything and exhausted online resources. We were in desperate need of consistent and continuous sleep. Admittedly, I previously felt pressured by a lot of the recent social media posts saying sleep training is harmful and unnatural. These claims are NOT backed by science by the way. I was wary that sleep training would be synonymous with "cry it out" and did not want my baby to feel abandoned. Thankfully, Kendra provided precise and gentle sleep training instruction. There were some tears, but we were in the room with him to provide comfort as we both learned a new skill together. The differentiators were (i) having a very detailed plan that I could follow, not just general concepts, (ii) receiving benchmarks of how long he would take to go down and how long certain phases would last, and (iii) having a resource to ask questions to as bespoke situations arose. Kendra's plan and support has given me the confidence to handle nighttime sleep and naps like a pro. She has given me back crucial nighttime sleep, so I can continue to work to my fullest potential and give tons of energy to my son during playtime. She's taken away the fear of "solo parenting" while my husband is away on travel for work.

I liked that this place had a nice open parking lot so after being there at various times, there was no shortage of spaces. (I'm big on this) My experience with the workers and the doctors has been amazing. They're very kind, great bedside manner, and they take the time to discuss your care without feeling rushed. I think the only real snag with them that I had was the lack of sleep study appointment availability and communication. My sleep study was scheduled months from my initial appointment and when we had inclement weather, I was rescheduled for another appointment months later. I was told that I'll receive a call to be bumped up to a better appointment time considering the circumstances. After two weeks, I realized that call wasn't going to happen. I called to get them to reschedule for a better appointment time as bad weather is nothing that anyone can help. They were able to fit me in but I disliked the communication in trying to get this completed. Especially since they put in a request for another pre-authorization from insurance since the approved time span was going to expire with the new appointment that they scheduled months later. There was some miscommunication as well with the sleep study time as well since I was told we would have to be up and out by 6am. I had some place to be by 7am that day and was woken up at 630. It wasn't a huge deal, just a little irritating that it was stressed from the assistant when making the appointment that 6am exit is non negotiable. That worked for me. So I would just say to ensure that you speak up and confirm times with them. After that, I'm sure they'll follow through.

But that's unfortunately where the positives end. I've had to call multiple times about getting a sleep med only to find out the doctor is no longer there. I have gotten multiple invoices from them "misplaced" and then getting a bill over a YEAR later. I've gotten the wrong supplies on multiple occasions(or no supplies). They were who my PCP sent me to. I ended up completely cutting off my account with them. I would suggest finding another place that takes your insurance. I wrote this review after trying to get them to send me single invoice with all the required info for my FSA to process. The 2nd ask still doesn't have all the info my FSA wants even when giving them a bulleted list of what was needed. I'm cutting my losses and will find someone more organized.
