A real nice room, access to kitchen and bathroom, more than 100 channels on the flatscreen TV for less than 500 DKK per night is a sweet deal!! And if you opt for the breakfast deal you will not regret. Only 50 DKK per person is a steal:-D. See pictures if you're not convinced:-). The best part is that Billesgade B&B is situated a mere 7 minute walk from the city centre. P.S. Look out for the Danish bikers. They do not brake for anyone:-(

Only downside is that the walls are thin, so even if your neighbours are quiet, you may still wake up if they use the bathroom at nighttime. This of course because you have a tendency to sleep lightly the first couple of nights you stay at a new place. But indeed not something to complain about. It is just what it is. But overall a very good place to spend the night, close to the centre, free parking if you are traveling by car and cheap. Highly recommended.

My husband had booked the smallest room (which was the only room available) but it was okay because we just needed a place to sleep. There was internet, a television in the room, a nice bathroom and a bed big enough for both of us. We got there a little early so the owner let us put our luggage there so that we could explore Copenhagen. When we came back to check in, the owner made the check in process (as well as the check out process because we had to leave at 6 am to go to the airport) very easy. She showed us to the room and explained how everything worked. The owner was able recommend a place for us to just grab a quick bite to eat - the cafe she recommended was very nice. The bed & breakfast is in a nice location - it is kind of in a residential neighborhood. It is also close to the metro that takes you to downtown/city center of Copenhagen. Since we were leaving so early in the morning, the owner left breakfast for us in the refrigerator for us to pull out in the morning. She asked us what we would like for breakfast and there it was in the refrigerator.. I would definitely stay here again if I was every in Copenhagen.

Holy Hamburgers! this is the place to stay. My wife wrote a review already but I write better…read morereviews so I figured I would add my 2 cents to this fantastic place. I can't say enough about the owner. She was so nice and accommodating to our silly schedule. The location of the place is so perfect. If you need to get to the airport, this is the place to book. You probably could walk to the airport from Ocean. You can see the airport from the street, but I never really heard it at all. If you don't want to walk to the airport you can take the Metro. It took longer to walk to the Metro then it took the Metro to get to the airport. Walking to the Metro took 4 minutes maybe. The Metro also takes you straight downtown to where all of the action is. Now for the room. It was cute. Yes the room was small but I didn't really care. The bathroom, I thought, was pretty cool but I think some would not like it. Ocean is also right by the Aquarium. Totally across the street. My wife wouldn't let me go to the aquarium because fish talk smack to her. She is a little nutty. The next time we decide to go to Copenhagen we will definitely stay here. If they are all booked up we will just stay home.

Traveling through Europe by car I also visited Stege. I didn't book anyhting in advance, so just…read moredrove and stopped by Hotel Stege Nor. I'd somehow still call it a B&B, but Hotel works too I guess. The room I was in was very cozy, the view on Stege Nor was amazing! Check out my pictures =) The host was very friendly, she recommended great places to visit while on Mon and seemed totally into wanting to give me a great experience staying there. The room was a little pricey, it was DKK 600 for one night and person including breakfast, but okay, I had a great room. Except for the shower, which was in the toilet, so when showering everything gets wet (paper towels, mirror, toilet....). But who cares. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't very rich. As I am part Swiss, part Danish and travel a lot I can tell that it wasn't prepared with love, unlike other places I had visited. That's why I only give four stars.
