In beautiful Sorø close to the even more beautiful lake and park around Sorø Akademi you can find…read morean extraordinary B&B. The house is famous in Sorø, because it's one of the most beautiful houses from the late 20th century in the town. It's typical open, classic, and simpel Nordic architecture. The colours are white walls and black woodwork. In the garden you'll find a blue swimming pool. The B&B is runned by a nice elderly lady, called Tut. She will greet you welcome, and she will do her out most to help you accommodate and enjoy you stay. She has 4 rooms. Room 1 is with balcony and private bathroom. Room 2-4 are with shared bathroom. In each room you'll find TV and WiFi, and you can make your own cup of coffee or tea. The bed is quite okay, and breakfast is just okay. I can't give the 5th star, because of some minor faults in the bathroom (the sink was a bit broken, the toiletseat loose, and showering was difficult, if you are more than 1.7 meters), and the breakfast was a bit limited.

Traveling through Europe by car I also visited Stege. I didn't book anyhting in advance, so just…read moredrove and stopped by Hotel Stege Nor. I'd somehow still call it a B&B, but Hotel works too I guess. The room I was in was very cozy, the view on Stege Nor was amazing! Check out my pictures =) The host was very friendly, she recommended great places to visit while on Mon and seemed totally into wanting to give me a great experience staying there. The room was a little pricey, it was DKK 600 for one night and person including breakfast, but okay, I had a great room. Except for the shower, which was in the toilet, so when showering everything gets wet (paper towels, mirror, toilet....). But who cares. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't very rich. As I am part Swiss, part Danish and travel a lot I can tell that it wasn't prepared with love, unlike other places I had visited. That's why I only give four stars.
