The campground…read moreis a bit outside the city of Copenhagen but it is very easy to get downtown as there is a metro stop just a short walk to the corner behind McDonalds. The cabins are very cute!! They are complete with 2 bedrooms, a couch, dining table, kitchen, private bathroom, and patio!! There are lots of windows so it's very light inside. The front desk staff are very helpful and there is lots of tourist information at the office. Wifi is not free, but the signal is good just about anywhere on the property. Should my travels take me to Copenhagen again, I would definitely stay here again.

During the Summer, you can pack a picnic and enjoy in the the park. You can even spend a night camping! This park produces an ample harvest of apples and wild berries during the Fall. And the changing colors of the leaves is really beautiful. Lastly, you can walk through the park in your own winter wonderland during the Winter when there is snowfall. Don't forget to bring your sled so you can slide down the only "hills" in KBH. There are designated paths that are well kept and provide great routes for running or walking. But there are countless paths that branch out deep into the park if you're feeling extra adventurous. The paved paths are always well-maintained and plowed/salted when there's snow. And then there's of course, the famous "hills" that provide a nice hike and great views from the top. During your visit, don't forget to keep the park clean! They have plenty of designated trash bins on the trails and along the bike paths. Keep this place beautiful!

High price for a very "basic needs" campsite. The water was mostly cold and very rusty (not…read moredrinkable), the toilets where clean but no hand towels or papers, the blower didn't work. The family shower did not work with two showers at a time, other showers small by size. The childrens playground was nice but very dirty. Definetly not worth 70€/night on a low-season weekday. The receptionist was nice and spoke very good english. The price should be 1/4 of the current price.
