Stuff happens, but I didn't expect to be charged $910 (almost half the original estimate) for them to fix the damage without any heads up. We were able to settle on $550. Obviously, costs them time and materials, but the whole experience just feels off... In 20 years of home ownership, I've never had a vendor charge me for damage they caused before.

I can't say enough about Nold Electric. My house was damaged by a storm and had water coming in…read moreeverywhere. The initial water mitigation company I hired had an electrician and he never even noticed the dangerous electrical issues. I still had concerns and called Nold Electric. Kevin Nold came out and because of his experiencr, knew what questions to ask. Through his line of questioning he discovered our main breaker box had sustained significant water damage. He also pointed out that all the wiring (in the walls) that had been wet and needed to be replaced along with additional light fixtures. Nold electric did an outstanding job of putting in the new panel, lots and lots of wiring, new outlets, light fixtures, and switches. Kevin Nold was detailed and discussed the locations of each outlet to make sure it worked for our family. He even made suggestions to help save energy. Nold Electric even went above and beyond and surprised my daughter by installing an outlet up near her ceiling so she could string up her decorative lights(and he even connected it to a switch) at no charge . Laid back, honest hard working and actually cares about his customers. A genuinely nice person. He's been in the business for a long time and really knows his trade. Highly recommended!!!

He came on schedule & completed what he could in the afternoon. However, he needed to schedule more time to finish and didn't have availability until a week later. Ultimately, I cancelled that appoint & did the final light hook ups myself. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks later one of the rooms he connected the lights for shorted out (one of the connection came loose). When I texted him to ask if he could stop over & fix, he replied "I'm booked into Jan. Call Carini electric". (this was in November) Are you kidding me? No time to come back to fix an error you made? But, instead refer you to someone else to fix? Totally unprofessional. My rating of a 1 star is based on lack of reliability and dependability. So and instead of referring to others and giving a 5 star Yelp review, I am recommending not using Micheal Monroe of Ethos Electric.

We saw this company had positive reviews under Angie's List, so we went for it (but still were nervous). From the very beginning to the end, they were very professional, courteous & very knowledgeable! Jim (owner) & his workers needed to be here for many days (because of the extent of the job), so they could have let things slip (like how they treated us, how they worked together, the AMAZING job they did, etc), but they didn't because that is just how they truly are!! GREAT people, job was done PERFECTLY, questions answered, GOOD pricing-We couldn't have found better!! TRULY blessed!! We have since needed to have other misc electrical work done & we call them right away! They are awesome! Would HIGHLY recommend Jim & his company!!!
