Great experience... no complaints at all…read more I got the groupon for the Juvederm filler, which was fairly priced. Dr. Amir took his time to take my measures and walk me through the process because he could tell I was super nervous. He even injected a numbing shots in my mouth free of charge! I know other places just use a numbing cream instead... which I don't think would be as good as a shot. His staff was super accommodating and friendly too. I waited less than 5 mins in the waiting room. 5 days have passed and I am loving my results!! If you're going to get boxtox or fillers I would strongly recommend this place as opposed to a 'med spa' because you have an actual doctor doing the procedure. I am so happy with my experience with Dr. Amir I think I will switch over to make him my regular dermatologist.

Dr. Perlis and Dr. Roman have both been exceptional with every interaction and visit. Today I saw the Nurse Practitioner, Karen, with a last minute appt., and she displayed the same care, compassion, and excellence in treating me that both Dr. Roman and Dr. Perlis display! She was excellent! I was a little skeptical at first being as I have never had an appointment with her, but Dr. Perlis called and gave her a run down of my conditions and history so when I arrived she was ready to treat! She is truly an asset to this office. Of course all the front desk personnel were friendly too! I always recommended these guys and gal to anyone in need of dermatology help! As always can't say enough good things about this office. If you're reading this, and within distance to travel, it's worth it!

But the "doctor" I had seen, said she would prescribe a shampoo that I would basically have to use forever and that I wouldn't have to keep coming for an office visit, since it would be a waste of time. I tried getting my prescription refilled today. CVS said I had to call the doctor to get them to renew it. So I tried to make an appointment today, and of course was told that "doctor" was lying, and apparently that "doctor" is no longer there. Suspicious if you ask me! So I was told to make an appointment, even though it would be a waste of everyone's time. Horrible miscommunication between the staff, doctors and (me). Guess I won't be getting my prescription refilled, since I'm just a customer, not a patient, and they don't give two craps

I eneded up going to a different derm and going through the horror of a potential melanoma biopsy (thankfully negative). Her reply says I had been late other times. This is NOT true. My teenage daughter once had a scheduling issue but never me. In any case, life happens. Whenever a patient reports a concerning mole as the reason they need to be seen, the Dr. should make it a priority. This is why surgeons and medical oncologists complain about dermatologists like Dr. White. In her reply, Dr White says they offer next day or same week emergency appts. for those who were turned away. Also not true. They did not offer me either. As far as cancer screening, all I can say is the other derm I saw subsequent to Dr. White was far more detailed, taking measurements and recording every single spot that looked remotely off. If Dr. White had done a more thorough check just 8 months prior and seen me despite my being literally 12 mins late, I could have avoided a terrible situation. I am not doing this to "bash" Dr. White, just letting the public know of my experience. As I said, her front office is kind and competent and Dr. White seems like a nice person. I'd be cautious about doing anything beyond cosmetics with her.

I visited Dr. Shrager at Alpha Dermatology at in New Hope as a last ditch effort to correctly…read morediagnose a reoccurring lip rash I suffered with on and off for 7 years. Prior to my visit with him, I had visited 4 other doctors consisting of 2 dermatologists, my gynecologist, and an infectious disease specialist. I was diagnosed a cold sore (even though the lab work came back negative and my bumps looked nothing like a cold sore) and staphylococcus. I knew that these diagnoses weren't right because my symptoms were inconsistent with the diagnosis. At the onset of my symptoms, my lips became extremely swollen and were covered with very small bumps, naked to the eye, that felt like sandpaper. Symptoms lasted for 1-2 weeks. During that time, it was very painful and I could only eat through a straw. It was so unsightly and painful due to a yellow crust that enveloped my lips that I even had to take time off of work. Over the years, the severity of the symptoms have decreased, but I still get an outbreak 2-4 times a year. For this reason, I was worried and looking for answers. I was afraid I had something awful that I could spread or that would cause overall health complications over time. My experience with Alpha Derm. as well as Dr. Shrager was exceptional from start to finish. The office staff was friendly and I was seen quickly. Dr. Shrager was simply awesome. He listened to my full history, showed empathy for my situation, explained everything fully, answered all my questions patiently, and most importantly, correctly diagnosed my condition as Perioral Dermatitis. After I left the office, I read about it and viewed photos of it online and I knew the mystery had been solved. Thank you SO much Dr. Shrager and staff! It's priceless to have peace of mind. I hope this review might help others with this condition come to find a proper diagnosis and if you're near New Hope, go see Dr. Shrager!
