They do have vegetarian options that you can request when making reservations for the cruise. You are sat at medium sized rectangle tables in a party of your reservations. There is unsweetened tea and water provided by the pitcher on your table with sweetener packets. The food is catered; I'm not sure if the same caterer is used for all meals. We began with a side salad of fresh lettuce, croutons, red onion slices, bacon for the carnivores, and a vinaigrette dressing. The main meal was a cheese lasagna, and a prime rib. My husband and I enjoyed our lasagna with a side of cheesy mashed potatoes... Definitely not for the dieters ;) I was informed by others in our party that the prime rib wasn't very good, and the green beans were very bland. The dessert was peanut butter pie. It was good for what is was, but I despise peanut butter :(, so I passed mine off. It definitely wasn't homemade as it was still slightly frozen. The trip as a whole was quiet enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly, we were informed of the history of the cruise line, then left enjoy ourselves and the company of our party. It was a nice evening out of the 'city'.

The new marina is very nice and even has a restaurant / cafe that you can get fresh food / meals from. Their rental pricing is very affordable which is nice. However, make sure to rent in advance because their rentals go quick on nice summer weekends. The marina is easy to get to and they have plenty of parking. The marina has everything you need from food, ice, beverages, boating essentials (sunscreen, life jackets, coolers, etc.), and more. I would highly recommend Alum Creek to anyone looking to rent a boat / jet ski / kayak / etc. It's always a fun time!

Water: I've never gotten in the water, so I can't judge this.. not a fan of lake water. Dam: Cool place to come for an easy outdoor walk to unwind and relax or to workout (many people run the steps up and down the dam). Everything here is free. Other: There is a frisbee golf course that people were actively using while I was there. There is a lot of easy hiking trails and scenery to enjoy. Conclusion: This is a good place to come with a family or friends. Get outside and have a picnic, go fishing, boating, take a hike, or play frisbee golf. It does get cold here in fall/winter as the wind comes off the lake, so wear a coat. I'm tired of the cold, debating running away to Mexico.
