Even though any daycare may be a bit pricey, you truly are getting what you pay for here; caring staff, amazing curriculum, good quality meals for your children and a positive atmosphere! The staff at Kindercare Mt. Carmel are amazing along with the current directors in place. Reflecting their curriculum on the needs for children to meet developmental milestones, they also offer amazing activities and fun projects to connect with other parents and students which i appreciate since most face-to-face interactions have been kept to bare minimum given COVID-19 restrictions. The pandemic has brought many trials and uncertainty, but I have never for once worried about my child's health and safety at KinderCare Mt. Carmel because they are very diligent on the safety of staff, parents and students there. I truly appreciate all the work that is being done to make sure our children still have a somewhat normal learning environment. Continue the great work.

My family has been very happy with our choice in childcare. The teachers and administrators really care about the kids and provide an environment that is not only safe and warm but creative and challenging. We love the emphasis on fresh, natural foods (all food is provided/included, which is SO convenient) and outdoor play. They also do a very cool "Summer camp" program where the kids have outdoor/water play all morning every day, and the preschool/pre-K kids have several field trips. There are also occasional "bonus" events such as an end-of-summer family party and Christmas-time pajama party for the kids. I will be honest, it's not cheap, but as with all things you get what you pay for!

Good evening, I am writing as a deeply angry and disgusted…read moreparent. Today, when I picked up my son Leonardo, I was informed he had SLEPT ON THE COLD TILE FLOOR because he was "hot." That explanation alone is UNACCEPTABLE, but it gets worse. He was WET when I picked him up this afternoon--his hair, his pants, his coat--completely soaked. And when I asked why, not a single staff member could give me an answer. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable response when a child is returned to their parent in that condition. The lack of accountability, the carelessness, and the indifference are beyond disappointing--they are DISGUSTING. As someone with experience working in multiple daycares and schools, I know that if a 3-year-old refuses to sleep on a cot, you don't allow them to lay on a cold, dirty floor like an animal. You comfort them, you redirect them, and you provide care. The fact that this didn't happen is a complete failure on your part. Even a dog gets a bed. My son deserved far better than this. And yes, I will say it--had Leonardo not been a young Black boy, I believe this situation may have been handled with more compassion and urgency. He was neglected. There's no other word for it. Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you found out your child took a nap on the cold floor? Or picking him up wet and not exactly given an actual clear explanation ? If he was uncomfortable, if he was upset, if something happened--WHY wasn't I called? As his mother, I should have been informed immediately. Instead, he was left in that condition, and no one took responsibility. This is not just poor care. This is unacceptable. This is disgusting. This is neglect. Leonardo will NOT be returning to your center. I will also be reporting this incident to corporate and taking further steps as necessary. I expect a written explanation, not excuses. Do better!!!!! This is my review and what happened to my child
