Unfortunately the center is getting a "make over" and basically told all the families at CCDS (Dec 2nd 2016 and 3pm via email) today would be your child's last day of you don't want to stay with them. Thankfully another daycare (which asher asked them for help him oversee) came in to clean up his mess but in turned told families about their new facility which caused the "make over" and basically kicked all the families out of CCDS without child care until the new facility is open. By law he's supposed to give families 30 day notice not 2 hours! Again violating regulations. He's heartless, greedy, selfish, lowlife and CCDS will belly up by the end of the month. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!

They pull professionals in to educate the kids with music lessons, cooking classes, top notch learning and great extra activities like yoga, gymnastics and soccer. It is privately owned by someone who has kids which is why I believe they truly do care...as for the baby room as well as all the other room stages. Your baby/toddler will never be better taken care of :) I would recommend Doodlebugz to everyone!

However that place has gone down hill and The teachers are so rude! They have an extremely high turn around rate where all the teachers leave in waves. So it's very unstable for children there. Nicole Lockwood the assistant director is extremely immature. I have come in to drop off or pick my kid up and have personally heard her talking badly about HER co workers. I have talked to the director Kristin about this. And STILL nothing has changed. Kristin just sits in her office and doesn't help where it is needed. I have come in to kids screaming and no one attending to them. The toddler teacher Lauren is always standing with her back faced towards kids, I have seen her using her phone. I know A LOT of parents that I have talked to have complained about Lauren and yet she is still allowed to be left alone Not supervising the children. I had one of my kids in toddlers for a while and she doesn't do any activities with them. I went in that room for a month and nothing was added or changed on the walls. WE pay for curriculum and early learning and I have yet to see that. That place is not somewhere I would ever want my kids again. There is absolutely no structure and the assistant director is rude and the director does absolutely nothing about it! Not to mention my friend went over to the Cheshire kinder care to help them out where they were short staffed and they were out of ratio, they weren't allowed bathroom breaks and the teachers were rude to her. She said she would never go back there even just to help the center out! Do NOT send your kids here. And DO NOT ever apply to work there, you are wasting your time.

Well, at that age group it is highly likely at ANY preschool that your child WILL get sick because preschoolers are just germy, let's face the facts. Plus, yes, it's in a basement, so if a parent drops their child off sick then again, yes, it will be likely that another child will get sick. Now, besides that this place has a number of amazing teachers and assistant teachers who are very supportive of the children and families that they serve. They have an amazing parent board and they have quite possibly the BEST supportive community I've ever seen between the staff, parents, and families. And the children learn A LOT through through play and natural environments. I have worked there and it was THE BEST preschool that I've worked at for both the staff and children's experiences. Plus, the fact that many of the teachers that work there have been there for YEARS which tells you even the staff loves their jobs and working with your children.
