I always have such a great experience with Dr Kohn. He's very through and I never feel rushed. Highly recommend.

First impressions are everything and it didnt happen for me at this hospital…read more Parking is literally non-exsistant. I assume due to construction there is only 1 garage for both the hospital and the dr bldg. Don't bother trying to get a spot as you go up, just go straight to roof where I eventually found one. It cost to park, take your ticket, they'll give you maybe $1 off if you validate it. If you can't find a spot, valet the car. It costs as well. The new concept of everybody checking in at the front before going to their respective waiting rooms is here. Its confusing since no one seems to want to help. Again first timers be aware of your surroundings. Communication lacks here with the particular office I was at. They may care but its more of a revolving door. The nurse i dealt with could use a few lessons in her approach. I won't get into details but if I stick with this particular practice I'll be going to their satellite location, not returning here.

We bury my father on Saturday, March 21st…read more He was a loving, active 72-year-old who still worked full time. He was admitted to a medical center in St. Louis approximately three weeks before his death for an acute flare of ulcerative colitis. After unsuccessful attempts to control the flare with steroids, he was approved for biologic treatment. However, this was delayed for about two weeks due to inconclusive tuberculosis screening. He was eventually cleared after passing a skin test. By then, his condition had significantly worsened. He required two blood transfusions and suffered from severe pain, heavy rectal bleeding, low blood pressure, poor nutrition, and unstable blood sugar. After his first biologic infusion, doctors noted less visible blood in his stool. However, he remained extremely fatigued, weak, in pain, unable to walk to the bathroom, and had no appetite. Despite this, we were told he was improving. The day before his death, he experienced severe, persistent nausea and repeatedly used the call button for help. There were multiple times it appeared to go unanswered. A family member went to the nurses' station several times to request medication. When a nurse responded, the request was met with a dismissive and aggressive reply. It is deeply painful to know he spent one of his final days in distress while his calls for help went unanswered. Three days after the biologic treatment, he passed away around 1:00 AM on March 11, 2026. We were never told he was at risk of dying. After his death, we received conflicting accounts--one stating he was found on the floor after bleeding, another that he was found on the commode. We still have no clear or official cause of death. It has been suggested he may have collapsed while trying to reach the bathroom, lost significant blood, and suffered a cardiac event. He had a serious cardiac history, including two prior heart attacks, multiple stents, and major vascular surgery. Despite this, he was never placed on a heart monitor during his three-week stay. Records show he was last checked around 11:00 PM and found unresponsive near 1:00 AM. CPR was performed for about 20 minutes, and early rigor mortis was reportedly present. Given his heart condition and repeated low blood pressure, it is concerning that he was not monitored more closely. A monitor may have alerted staff to a cardiac event. There also appeared to be poor coordination among his care team, with inconsistent communication and no clear treatment plan. In his final days, he was in severe pain, extremely weak, and increasingly debilitated. At times, basic care needs, including hygiene, did not appear to be met in a timely manner. Our family believes his death raises serious concerns about patient monitoring, communication, and overall standards of care. We respectfully request a full review of the circumstances and changes to prevent this from happening to others. He was deeply loved by his family and had many years ahead of him. His death deserves accountability.

The ER doesn't have individual rooms, it has a triage room with curtains separating the beds. I heard the health history, diagnosis, test results and everything else for every other patient in there. This set up has to be a HIPAA violation. Not mention when the person came around getting patients insurance and verifying info, SS numbers, phone numbers, addresses, all kinds of stuff were said out loud for everyone to hear. And the room which housed 5 beds was maybe 20x20. No privacy whatsoever. I won't go back.

He said oh that's probably on my table but I have no clothes. I called the nurses station so he wouldn't fall. Was greeted with I was just going to help him and had to come back to answer the phone. I tried to express difficulties with his eating that my cousin had noticed such as eating non edible items, using a straw as a fork and pouring milk I'm on his fries and he didn't want to listen. I hung up and dad called back immediately. I told him that the man in the room was there to help him. He agreed and sat his phone down. To which I heard the nurse hoer for someone to bring towels and wet washcloths. I assume because he was soiled and no telling how long he had been laying there. But... then they began talking about his cognitive ability to eat and agreed that they had never seen him have a problem. They said well if the family was around for more than an hour they would actually know how he is doing. My cousin had just been there for 36 hours. Anyway. Got him out of there asap and he is in ER headed to skilled nursing after walking for 10 straight hours and no sleep for 48 bc we were given 100 seroquil for evenings although they used haldol and other things to make their nights easier. Formal complaint is in motion. He spent 2 days in ICU that were the safest I felt for him. The ICU attending was wonderful Respiratory and other attending that I watched in action with his rapid responses that I was there for were amazing. One nurse documenting time of meds given had not set her watch back she said so all of the times were charted wrong. Dangerous in a med situation. I never knew what to believe when he was so mad at people and called them names or said they called him names. He's called me names at home. But if they knew these things why was a neurological referral and exam not completed? I see other reviews that they have no neurologist available. Idk. But I would avoid. It looks great with a small place and staff that have been around forever but the comments I've seen I can almost tell you who the people are and if there have been complaints followed up with the whole "please contact us" thing and the people still work there 4 years later there is a huge problem. Leg pic is swelling from a fall. Couldn't tell which one. This ER says lower portion of the replacement is loose but not sure if from fall or possible degeneration.

An example of this, was their failure to give breathing treatments due to patient not being able to hold the nebulizer to his mouth. By the time he was discharaged, he had 7 decubitus/open sores on his buttock, and one was necrotic. Our family was not informed of all these open sores. No physical therapy either, they said they didn't have the staff for that care. We won't ever take any of our family there again.

Let me start from the beginning! The anesthesiologist, Chris he was phenomenal. Listen to me the entire time and really tried to help. Chris also went above and beyond after our Baby was born, taking tons of photos on my husband's phone for us since I was out of it to capture the moment. The day I was admitted, they told me my two-year-old could stay the night but then when I switched rooms I was told we were misinformed and no kids under 16 could stay. So we had completely changed last minute with an hour left of visitation which resulted in me having to stay overnight by myself without my husband helping therefore I only got two hours of sleep. Frustrating getting different pieces of information. Dietary was a nightmare they consistently messed up our worse, forgot food and would have to bring up another tray, which would take another 15 minutes at a time. We are waiting over 45 minutes for food. One of the nurses made a comment that's where they get their lowest ratings is from dietary. The nurse had eight students with her and offered if we wanted to get some rest. One of the students would watch our daughter, which was very kind. Apparently they don't have a nursery so that you can rest even after c sections there's not an option. They also don't offer pacifiers unless your baby is in a lot of distress. The nurse told me just to go home and grab one. The real amazing nurses were Becky, who was my second night nurse, Jackie, my second night nurse. The scrub nurse Alie and my other nurse Tori were incredible the entire time I cannot brag about them enough. They helped me watch her so I could sleep on my second night. They got my pain under control that you're seriously went above and beyond.
