As a disabled veteran and a cancer survivor. I spent my own money and bought items to gift to homeless children that go to school. This was a personal gift from me to them. I earned $990 worth of Kohl's cash through the rewards program. Kohl's refuses to give me my money which was going to be used to buy more things so I could gift to homeless children. The sad thing is I have not broke any policies. I'm just a disabled individual trying to give gifts to others. I called to speak to customer service to find out why they refused to issue me my Kohl's cash. My $990 worth of Kohl's cash. The individual on the phone and the supervisor refused to tell me of any type of policy that I had broken. I looked up the policies and I in compliance . They are just keeping my Kohl's cash . Wow! This Kohl's is nothing like any other Kohl's I've been in. This store was smaller, had less options, seemed more like a clearance store than a regular store (not because of the amount of clearance, but because of the feel of the store. I was in here for maybe a few minutes before I just left. I just didn't like it. Sorry for the short review, but I've been in at least 20 different Kohl's stores and every one of them felt the same. Kohls recently sent out new Visa account cards for current Kohls customers. There are tons of issues trying to use the new card. Called Capitol One customer service and they tell me I cannot link my new card to my account because I'm a co-user on my Wife's account. Well, that's why I was trying to create a new account. Is Kohl's practicing "Bait and Switch" marketing???? i had a 25% off coupon and wanted to buy some mens socks. took my purchase to register only to be told my selected brand was excluded. the coupon listed some exclusions but did not mention the brand i wanted. please explain. how is it there are exclusions that are not mentioned in the exclusions????? they bait u in with the coupon but switch to rules that are not written on the coupon. think this is a questionable business practice. buyer beware and very watchful when shopping at Kohls!! read more

Good quality clothing at reasonable prices. I found men's golf shirts with pockets at Kohl's; until I foundvthem bbn online I hadn't really shopped there before. They are a general department store with CV osmetics, shoes, clothing for all ages. This store was friendly, we had offers for help witjout pushiness and an easy checkout. I'm not sure what all their products are, we stayed primarily on the first floor. The bathrooms were clean. read more

The women in the returns, tall pretty African American is extremely rude and condescending. She needs to be trained by the chic filet company. She needs to not work with the public!!! My favorite store. Love the polite employees and great customer service. Never a problem with returns. Always great sales and brand I happen to like for the people my age. When you are past that teeny bopper look and out of juniors but still want to be stylish and not ready to go to elastic pants and baggy shirts. They have the brands that keep me stylish and cute. I can always find anything I need for the house also. An improvement I would like to see is in the boys section. I would love to see more brands brought in to give boys different options. If you get a sale along with some other discounts, worth a shot, but forget the Kohl's cash promotions unless you plan to shop here all the time. I was in Kohl's for 30 minutes without anybody helping me. I wanted to buy a lot of jewelry for a special occasion in the morning. They close at eight I was at the store at the jewelry counter at 7:30. The manager on duty was wearing a black shirt young kid with black long hair. He told me sorry but I never saw you there. now get out! I have been shopping with Kohl's for years. I have all the Kohl's credit cards. I love Kohl's but if this is the way you guys are going to treat the customers then I am going to cancel my Kohl's credit card and my Kohl's charge card. This is absolutely ridiculous. I asked for help and some girl said that's no problem give me just a minute and 30minutes later the manager told me to get out. I wanted to spend good money on my wife and get her a new diamond ring. I cannot believe the amount of disrespect I received at the store. I will contact the lawyer if this does not get resolved because he told me sorry but I cannot sell you anything at the store. And that the store is closed but they were shopper still roaming around. And all of those shoppers were able to buy the stuff that they wanted. Why am I being excluded. I never look forward to coming to this Kohl's. I hoped this time would be different ... well every time I come here I hope it will be different although it never is. I walked in tonight and showed the woman and told the woman Sue that I'm looking for a Fitbit leather watch band to exchange because I got a small one that does not fit my wrist. She looked right at the package, seeing it as I was holding in my hand and told me I'll go around the corners to mens wallets, they are there. So it's there I go. There are no Fitbit wristbands anywhere to be found. So I asked another about a Fitbit watch band they sent me to watches/jewelry section and promptly disappears. Now that I have walked a majority of the store without success and incorrect directions to the item I'm trying to find I'm walking out to leave. Sue a gain stops me and asks if I found it. I said no you sent me to mens wallets and then I was sent to jewelry. " Oh Fitbit!" Left and around to the back of the store is where the Fitbits are located. I showed her the band again and told her I need to exchange for a larger size. "We can exchange that right here if it's the same type". I return with the correct size watch band. She calls a manager. The manger looks at it and tells me I need to go to the back of the store and exchange it. I tell her I've been here for 30 mins and have walked the entire store- she looks at me confused. She's not sure I can exchange it. It's in the same box and looks identical visually and price wise. $59.00. I've lost the desire to exchange it and just reminded myself why I should never shop or buy from Kohl's. No wonder I don't shop at this place. So I bring a few shirts back..for an exchange..they were gifts from my mom to my 7 year old. I didn't have a receipt so I was just going to get was equivalent and figured I'd have to pay a few dollars for the difference. I was gifted some clothing items from KOHL''s for Christmas, some of which did not fit. The blonde, heavy-set lady working the returns counter was rude and abrupt. Evidently, Kohl's is now expecting a gift receipt to accept returns, despite the clothing still having all tags still on them, and in a KOHL's bag. I went to my favorite store on Mother's Day. I needed a price check on a pair of nice slacks. The check-out line had customers waiting so I decided to ask the employee in the jewelry dept. to scan the slacks so that I can see what type of bargain I would be getting. She suggested that I stay in the check-out line and wait on the cashier. She did not have a customer, was not doing anything but standing there looking at a jewelry case. After asking her again to ck for me, she blew a little wind and checked for the bargain. C'mon customer service is why employees work at Kohl's. read more

**update: when i was finally able to make the drive to Kohl's my wallet had been there the whole time despite Lydia insisting they had nothing like that. Thank you to the evening shift customer service who were very helpful**I was treated so poorly by Lydia in customer service this morning. I had left my wallet in a cart the previous evening and asked if anyone had turned one in. Lydia was so rude to me I will never return to this Kohl's again. She could have simply said no we don't have anything like that but we will keep an eye out. Instead she was beyond rude to me. I couldn't have been nicer to her, having myself worked in customer service for years I know how presumptuous and demanding customers can be. She was just awful, might be done with Kohl's for good it was that bad of an experience. I came to Kohl's once before today since moving here a few months ago and then today I needed to make a return on a few items. Upon getting in the entrance- it was unclear which area was for returns. My three big kids needed to use the bathroom so they followed the signs on where to go. They went one way and after we asked an associate about returns, my husband and I went the other way. Once we found the return center - while i was still in line, my daughter called to let me know they were lost. My turn was up at the register so i asked my daughter to hold on and placed my phone on the counter. I answered the lady's questions and gave her my receipt and she asked me to take the clothes out of the bag for her. Once she started ringing everything up, i picked my phone back up and began telling my kids where to find me (and coincidentally- the bathrooms that were NEVER clearly marked to be located INSIDE customer service). As soon as I got off the phone, the lady (black lady with curly hair) picked up the ringing phone and started talking to a customer. When she got off the phone- she told me "I have to do that because it's my JOB. Otherwise i think it's RUDE..." as she stares at me and waits for a reaction. I told her "ok..." and then after thinking about what she just said i asked her "what's rude? You being on the phone or having to explain store policy (referring to what she was doing on the phone) and she said "being on the phone while standing in front of someone." She was being indirectly condescending and instead of making a scene..i held my tongue. I was a frequent shopper at the kohl's near our last duty station but I will never go back here again. Disrespectful encounters like this from employees are a dealbreaker for me and I am super disgusted that she felt so comfortable talking to me as if I was intentionally being rude to her. My KIDS were trying to find me and she heard me giving them directions. I had enough courtesy to hold talking until she started ringing my stuff up! We're talking about a one minute convo long enough to tell my daughter where I was in the store. read more

Kohl's has excellent quality merchandise and the best coupons and rewards! No other department store comes close in value for the money. I am a long time customer and have never had any trouble with returns, nor have I ever encountered rude 'customer service'. I love shopping at Kohls and highly recommend this store read more
