We waited about 15 minutes in line with another lady in front of us waiting. The customers being helped were holding up one of the two employees working looking for an item that was being held that was misplaced. The employee finally found it but instead of helping us in line he helped three people who had just walked in get fitted. So we continued waiting another ten minutes for the lady employee to finish helping her customers. Once she was done she finally acknowledged us in line, the first time anyone has said anything to us since we have been in the store. She got everyone's names at once and worked in a backwards order to deliver the suits. I will not be back here and would not recommend. They need better training the younger guy was clueless.

Before leaving the salesperson asked if I would like for him to removed all the tags from the slacks and asked if I would like him the press them as well, which I quickly agreed for him to do. So I walked to the back and the gentleman there barely talked to us. I explained what I was looking for. He gave me prices and looked at me as perhaps I couldn't afford it. He then proceeds to walk away from us. After about 2 minutes, my son and I walk out. As we are leaving the whole group laughs at us. Pretty bad customer service. Never again. There was a major thing missing - an employee to assist in finding the right size and style to meet my needs. I haven't purchased a suit coat in close to a decade, and it is time to replace the one I currently use. I have no idea what size would fit best, or what style would be the better choice. Maybe I expected too much from a department store that I thought assisted customers in their purchase decisions.

The dress has to have certain features (sleeves, and at least knee length) after looking by ourselves for a bit and not really finding what she needed I asked the only employee working in the "young Miss " department (cashier) if she could assist us or call someone that could help us find a dress. Being that there were literally no other customers in that department she was just standing around so after I asked she pointed to where some dresses were and told me that I'd find what I needed "over there". Needless to say, after that I took my business next door to JC Penney's and got what I needed! No more belk for this family!
