RUST forming around drains and other areas of a Kohler sink after only 2 months!

DO NOT buy a stainless sink from Kohler. They are NOT what they used to be! I've bought dozens of Kohler products throughout my life. I just bought my last sink though! After only (2 months) my Kohler Decree double sink began to RUST in both sides and rust spots forming around the top. I'm Shocked that they won't stand behind their product and this will be their downfall of an already declining business. It's sad. SAVE your money and time!!!

After install and before new tile floor going in. Steps I use to get in without having to sit and wait 10-15 mins for it to fill up.

Do your homework. It would be best to "try one on" in person. Just had one installed to enjoy a jetted tub that didn't require laying down on the floor basically. The back and seat are like a chair with no recline to the back. Disappointing. The water only comes up to my waist. So shoulder, neck and upper back stiffness not addressed with this tub. For hot water you will need a large one and even with that I had to turn the temp up to achieve a warm bath. Also, because I am very agile, I bought spa steps to allow me to fill the tub first then step over it. By the time the bath is over, I'm more relaxed and can wait the 5 minutes for it to drain.

Back in mid-September 2025, I emailed Kohler this message: "Yesterday, the flush/refill mechanism failed in my invalid wife's Kohler toilet-tank. The failure was because the "Guide FV Canister Kit" broke during normal operation, and while the tank-cover was in place. The broken part is item 1063553-AA (ABS). This was the 2nd time for the identical failure! See the attached photo, showing yesterday's broken part on the right, next to the same or very similar part that had broken previously, on the left. Luckily, I had a replacement flush valve that I was saving for just such an occasion. My plumber was able to take the required part from the new flush valve and use it to replace the broken part--without a trip to the supply store and without having to lift the toilet tank. Otherwise, his charge would have been substantially more than the $160 just for the house call. I don't expect Kohler to reimburse me for the plumber's house call--but I do expect Kohler to do me the courtesy of sending a couple of no-cost replacements for part 1063553-AA. My address is [Redacted]. I also would advise that Kohler consider re-engineering what obviously is a weak part. Just looking at it, I wondered if the 4 little struts that tend to break could not be made just a bit thicker?..." * * * "Kohler Customer Care" promptly replied, "...While we truly value your feedback and your suggestion regarding the potential re-engineering of the part, we regret to inform you that we are unable to send service parts in advance. In the event of any defect or issue, we are happy to assist with a replacement at that time, following our standard service process..." * * * My plumber was right. When I told him I was going to complain to Kohler, he said, "Kohler won't care."

May I start out by saying shame on me for continuing to buy this product. From leaking faucets to surplus box store quality vanities. My experiences with most all Kohler products I have purchased have in one way or another failed or just flat out not worth the money below. I will post a few photos of the craftsmanship that goes into their product.

I placed an order G198RW and i got an email that my order was cancelled and to re submit it WITH ZERO EXPLANATION WHY THE ORDER WAS CANCELLE

I was a bit disappointed when my one-year-old Kohler Malleco kitchen started leaking at the top of the spray head.

I don't think it is a stop most people would think about going as if you aren't planning a big renovation, but the design center is more like a art and history museum! The first level is full of modern fixtures with beautifully curated displays. The staff remains to their own until you ask for their help, so nice when you are just taking it all in. We loved looking at all the different displays. Downstairs, the history of Kohler, a great timeline and information on the company from the very start with displays from some first fixtures and where they are today. It was great to see their humble beginnings and how the family business has transformed to what it is today. Upstairs, artist designed spaces. It was great to see the creatively crafted bathrooms and fun to see different, unique takes on bathrooms. If you are even considering a visit to the Design Center, I recommend just go! It's free to stop in!

The Kohler Design Center is a great place for anyone who is serious about finding the best options for a remodel that includes plumbing fixtures. You will be amazed, and sometimes amused, by the creative and interesting ideas presented throughout the center. Beware, many of the installations have actual running water, and you might need a towel after turning a few knobs while standing in a "shower." I know this because it actually happened to me. Be sure to save time to visit the museum on the lower level. They have amazing products from the past and a wonderful collection of information about the history of this storied family business.
