Like I said, they refused to take back 2 bowties, within one hour of purchase, with a receipt. The guy in the store tells me that he cannot take back "small items." It's our return policy. He refers me to the return policy above the register, where it says nothing of the sort. I needed 2 bow ties AND cummerbunds for a black tie affair. Much of the store is dedicated to this low end formal wear, but they of course, do not have 2 cummerbunds. So I settled for the 2 bowties. I, of course, found what I needed in another store. So I thought, while I'm still in the mall I'll just return these. Now I get it that people probably try to scam them returning stuff after wearing them once. But, this was an hour later...and they didn't actually have what I needed to begin with. Mind you, I told the guy that I had purchased 2 tuxedos and an additional tuxedo jacket for myself and family members last year. Now this low-end stuff is cheap, so I got all of that for $380, plus we had to have the pants tailored, so about a total of $460. I'm just starting to get into owning formal wear and I have found a lot of use for this stuff recently. So, I'm sure I would have been back for another cheap jacket, or whatever. Overall, the stuff is low-end and cheap. You get what you pay for. I'd advise anyone to go to a REAL store and stay away from these cheap ghetto stores that will nickel and dime you and don't have any clue what customer service is, how to keep a customer, or just do what's right in business.

I called multiple times but phone is disconnected and website is down. I understand why they are closed now however these shoes should have arrived before they closed due to COVID. They should also be in touch with their customers , especially those who have pending orders and were charged. This was a total bummer for me. I was really looking forward to shopping at this Inspirations…read morelocation because it was so large and I've had good luck at other locations in the past. There's a large selection of clothes and a huge selection of shoes. However, everything is extremely expensive for a thrift store. Yes, everything is in good condition and some pieces are brand new. However, 80% of the tops I looked at were priced at $12 and above. I was shocked. I was so distracted by the prices, I couldn't look at the clothes. I definitely saw tons of things I liked but some sweatshirts and sweaters were $25, which is equal to what you'd pay for a brand new clothing item in TJ Maxx or Marshall's. The upside is that mostly everything is a name brands and there are a few vintage pieces hidden in the racks. But the prices are unjustifiable for a used clothing store. $25 for a used Colombia sweater? I tried on a brand new one at TJ Maxx the other day for $34. At that point, I might as well spend the extra few dollars and buy it new. I really couldn't justify buying used clothes for these prices. Another thing I noticed was that many sweaters were $22 and $24 and so were the jackets! To me, that didn't make any sense. How are the jackets the same price? I even saw a jacket on the rack marked at $99 which is something I'd expect for behind the register. Despite the prices, there was a large selection of scarves, shoes, and seasonal home goods (Christmas and Halloween). There's one aisle of books which looked to be mostly children's from my quick glance, and a wall of purses that were again over priced. I picked up a large wristlet and it was $10, which again I couldn't justify spending. The quality of the clothing is good, don't get me wrong, but the prices really turned me off. I didn't get anything and I didn't spend much time hunting in here once I saw how things were priced. The purpose of thrifting to me is getting something gently used for a great bargain. Great bargains were hard to find here for me. They do offer 50% off for certain tag colors, which was white when I went, but I didn't find one item with this tag. All of the clothing seemed to be tagged in a pink/orange color. One positive of this store is that it's separated by size and there seems to be a good amount of plus sized clothes here. If you're a traditional thriftier, I wouldn't suggest this location. If you don't mind spending $$$ for secondhand clothes, then this is the place for you.

Ladies, the clothes and shoes for us are a bit limited, but I was able to score some Nike running shirts on super sale with 40% off. Now guys, they have Woolrich, Pendleton, Obey, Carhartt and so much more. I literally wanted my guy to buy everything. Cozy and warm flannel jackets, fresh hoodies, button downs, really great and unique blazers and I'm not talking JCrew here. Most of this stuff had a bit of flavor, and I liked every bit of it. We happened to roll up on a ginormous sale which totally helped, but man, what a great selection. A few other things I noticed - really great designer shades like Gucci and Carrera and some really great shoes, think Nikes and Clarks (again mostly for guys). I have purchased shoes/boots on several occasions in the past. On my last visit, however, I had planned to buy a pair of boots. I came into the store to decide which boot after seeing my choices in person. Just when I was about to make my decision, someone who seemed to be a manager came over and AGGRESSIVELY indicated that the boots I was considering were going to sell out, so I'd better snap them up if I wanted a chance at them. I ended up leaving without spending my money at that location. I bought the boots, but elsewhere. I might possibly return in hopes of encountering the "right" staff member if I was in the area. As I stated in earlier reviews at another location: When there is a sale, the prices are less, but no one who buys docs expects them to be cheap. Regardless, the value has never been location dependent. If you are looking see docs in person, try them on and buy them, you can accomplish that here. As this location is in NJ, no taxes makes the purchases less expensive.
