Fabulous cafe in the outer east of Melbourne…read more The food was amazing, and definitely the major draw card here. A variety of offerings from various cultures all cooked and presented beautifully. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and cheerful. Their dedication to the cafe was obvious. The coffee was good - they buy from a local roaster. Not as spectacular as some coffee places closer to the city, but still drinkable. The cafe had a good atmosphere with expressive art on the walls and different seating options. The prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food that we received. This is definitely a cafe to visit if you're in the area.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely vibe. There is a choose-your-own-combo fresh pressed juice that I enjoyed. I had the mediterranean breakfast and it was presented very elaborately. Some of the individual elements were very highly seasoned which I enjoyed. The whole thing was made from quality fresh food which I appreciated. However it was missing the hearty big-plate-of-food feeling that is what I was expecting. Less fuss, fewer options, more good quality food in quantity would be preferable. Will be back to sample more of the food, it looked like it will all be excellent quality.

The staff seem like their always under the pump when the cafe is barely at half capacity, which makes me feel like the management is really pressuring their staff - I also keep seeing their previous staff at other cafes loving life, and saying as much. On top of that, the pricing.. it's insane, there is no consistency, and a Ruben with chips FOR $30? In what world is that reasonable? Food quality is hit and miss, and is okay at the best of times.

I loved the wallpaper and design that they've put into the place. Menu was easy to read and wasn't overly littered with choices. Service was a little slow and hard to get a waitress's attention but the quality and taste of the food made up for this. Felt just like being an inner suburb cafe only further away from the city. Great place to catch up over some breakfast, brunch or even lunch.

The service was great, we has Pheobe serving us and she was engaging and lovely. The meals were presented beautifully and nothing was left behind. The fresh apple juice was a little overdone with the ice blocks, but Chai and coffee's were great. We really couldn't fault the service or the food. This is not your sit and have a long lunch kind of establishment. As it is SO busy, it can be quite noisy and hectic. And once you've eaten you expected to move on. The parking is a tricky, but there are places around that you can park. I believe if you go during the week their pastry kitchen operates and with a full glass viewing area you can see the pastry cooks at work. And as a side note, there are some walking/bike tracks around a great playground just around the corner. Enjoy.
