After experiencing several very unpleasant issues with Insight Veterinary Wellness Center in El Dorado Hills. Mainly dealing with incorrect information, and insensitivity after just losing a beloved one after 15 years was just too much. Luckily, I found the memorial card for my last pet, received from Koefran 4 years earlier, and gave them a call. This was the best thing during this whole process. Juan answered my call and really did a fantastic job in resolving all my issues. He was so wonderful and attentive. He was able to have my beloved pet picked up from a clinic that does not do business with Hoefran which was a great relief to me. Juan then guided me and helped with the final selection of the urn and engraving. He made a very unpleasant experience into a much better one. Also, KUDOS to the rest of the staff. All my interactions with Koefran were top-notch and professional with loving attitudes. A very special shout out to Austin AKA Smiley. He met me upon my arrival to give me my new urn and to help transfer my other pet's ashes into the new urn, so both are reunited together. He really did a fantastic job on the urn, and the engraving was so much better than I expected. Likewise, he was also very genuine and caring. Thank you so much, Juan and Smiley, I truly appreciate both of you!

I want to share how pleased I am with the customer service at Koefran, EVERY step of the way! Briefly, unfortunately we had our beloved German Shephard Kona euthanized at MarQueen in Roseville on a Monday. As difficult as it was for us, Ashley at MarQueen compassionately went over the final cremation details, but shortly later they were a blur. Shortly after arriving home, I called Koefran and spoke to Brianca. She went over many of the details I missed at the euthanasia. I explained that we would like Kona back ASAP (maybe Friday?) and Brianca stated this shouldn't be a problem. She said that Kona was scheduled for pick up Wednesday morning and assured me that Kona would be handled with respect. She then went over the timing of the pick up, the cremation, the cedar box engraving, and our hopeful pick up schedule. Following up Wednesday afternoon I spoke with Juan and he confirmed that they had Kona and confirmed she was scheduled for Thursday. Late Thursday afternoon I called again and spoke with Juan and he confirmed the procedure was completed and the spectacular (my description!) cedar box would be engraved in time for the Friday morning pick up. He asked me to call early Friday to make certain everything was completed and to schedule a pick up time. Friday I called and spoke with Brianca and she confirmed everything was completed and a pick up time was set. When we arrived at the pick up location, Martin was there ahead of time waiting for us! Martin verified Kona's identification number and respectfully handed her in a nice delivery bag. The engraving turned out spectacular-way beyond my expectations! EVERY step of the way, Brianca and Juan couldn't have been more understanding and professional. Koefran should be pleased with their customer service! They both answered the phone promptly and both were aware of our special requests. Who provides this type of customer service anymore? This showed me this company REALLY does care! I can't express our appreciation enough to everyone at Koefran. In our time of despair they couldn't do enough for us. EVERYTHING was done as promised and on time to get our girl home within the timetable we asked and they provided, with no excuses! I recommend their services when that unfortunate time comes for your beloved pet. Thank you Koefran and a special thank you to Juan, Brianca, and Martin for your wonderful customer service!! Note: we added the photo in box as instructed.

we had to put my girl down 10 days ago and our veterinarian uses Koefran to do the cremation. i had no idea what company they used and was so worried that my girl wouldn't be in good care. i got my dogs ashes back today and it was so much faster than expected and i finally got to see that my biggest worry was not true. her Urn is beautiful and after looking up Koefran i couldn't be more grateful, knowing now that my baby girl was taken care of with kindness. as hard as today was i have peace now knowing that she was in the best hands. rest in peace my girl

I'm very pleased with this company. I was skeptical at first about cremating my fur baby. How was I to trust that I was getting the right ashes back? How do I know they care? But this baby is very special to me and i took a chance. I could have buried her but I wanted to keep her with me. The customer service was outstanding. Very patient and empathetic, understanding and thorough. It's not like a lot of people do this every day so that was good for me. It was my first time. The call made me feel confident. I explained what happened with my baby and how it was a sudden turn of events and how my baby's Adoptaversary is coming up. I just got her ashes ahead of the estimated delivery date and ahead of her Adoptaversary so she can actually be here for her special day! I think they must have gone out of their way to do this! The cedar box I chose arrived looking very nice. It smells fresh as well. The shipping box was clearly marked fragile and was wrapped with care. I feel relieved that I chose the right company to handle services for my baby who took care of me so well for so many years of the toughest trials of my life. I think I owe it to her to have her respected and honored. It will be nice to have this wonderful keepsake in our ceremony to celebrate her life and help me and the dog grieve our loss. Thank you Koefran family!

They make the most beautiful tribute for our fur babies... I have every print they have ever made for us in shadow box on the wall, and they even helped so graciously by sending a print for our kitty that was gravely hurt and couldn't be printed just so they could all be together. No one I could rave more about for their beautiful work and genuine kindness

RIP Blitz

Instead, I received a call telling me to get to the clinic immediately. They found her body covered in cancer--from her throat to her lungs to her intestines--and she could barely breathe. I still don't understand how her regular vet never caught this. That day became the last day I held my little angel. I didn't want her ashes mixed with any other pets, so the clinic that helped us say goodbye recommended West Coast Pet Memorial Services. I paid for an individual cremation, chose her urn with a photo slot, and selected a pendant so I could keep some of her ashes with me. I had no idea what to expect after that. West Coast Pet Memorial Services turned out to be one of the most caring companies I have ever dealt with. Their pricing was fair, but it was their compassion and the way they handled everything that meant the most. When I picked Shasta up, they presented her in the most beautiful way: a lovely urn, the pendant containing some of her ashes, a certificate, and her paw print card. Everything was done with such dignity and respect. Inside the urn was a soft blue silk sash holding her ashes. I wasn't expecting that, and when I opened it to place her picture inside, I got to hold her one last time. That meant the world to me. The young woman who helped me, Jennifer, explained gently how to place the photo in the urn. She didn't know Shasta, but you could tell she genuinely cared. Her kindness and warmth helped me through one of the hardest moments of my life. I spent 12 beautiful years with my Shasta girl. Thanks to this company, she came home to us in a way that honored her life. Her urn is now on the mantle with her picture, certificate, and paw print. I also wear the pendant every day so she's always with me. The quality of the pendant and all the materials they used is beautiful. I want to thank everyone at West Coast Pet Memorial Services, especially Jennifer. Your tenderness, professionalism, and true compassion showed in everything you did. You made sure my angel came home properly and with dignity. I appreciate every part of the care you provided for my girl. I've had a pet cremated before many years ago, and that experience was horrible--tasteless, careless, and heartbreaking. They even lost my dog's ashes at one point, and when they finally handed them to me, it was in a brown paper bag. My dog was 3 pounds, yet the ashes they gave me weighed around 15. It was clear he had NOT been cremated alone. That experience stayed with me, and it's why I am so passionate about sharing what a difference West Coast Pet Memorial Services made. If you truly love your pet and want them cremated with respect, care, and dignity, this is the place. They cremate your animal alone--no mixing, no guessing, no doubt. They understand what we go through as pet parents, and they handle everything with genuine compassion. I know that, when the time comes for Shasta's twin brother, this is where I'll go again. Thank you, West Coast Pet Memorial Services, for going above and beyond, for your warmth, for your grace, and for giving my Shasta the beautiful farewell she deserved. My angel is home, and I am forever grateful. Our Angel: Shasta Hirschfield / Husid RIP: Aug 2014 - Nov 2025 By: Floretta hirschfield November 2025

We called them to make adjustments to our selections for aftercare products and the customer service representative that helped us was the absolute best! I wish I could remember her name. We ended up adding on 3 clay paw prints and switching the urn from the standard to the hand carved. I really liked how the name placard came unattached from the urn so we could place it ourselves. The clay paw prints are very sturdy and so beautiful. Thank you for helping us remember Blossom forever.

I am now waiting to get the ashes back from my precious cat, Winchester. I loved that there was no hard sale. He showed me what they had to offer and when I said I had just had to get a new roof on my house and was having to rebuild my savings. He never said another word. Some people would just keep pushing for a sale, but Jason was very understanding he just nodded his head. When I was getting ready to leave, I had my cat covered because I couldn't look at him that way anymore, but I put my hand on the towel that had covered him and then a kiss. I told him I loved him. Jason then came over and gave me a hug and then I cried even more. That gesture met so much to me. And their prices were so much more reasonable than other places and I'm retired and on a fixed income, so this was also a big help. Now I just have to go back and pick up his ashes and that's going to be just as hard I think as leaving him there in the first place. I did decide to spend a little extra money and get his paw prints. He was a special boy and now I'm crying again as I write this. Thank you for taking such good care of me and I know my boy was handled with compassion and kindness.

This is a review for the pet burial services for my pets. Not cremation…read more I researched for the closest pet cemetery in my area, and Bubbling Well was the closest (although still far..2 hours away) as all the local pet cemeteries permanently closed/shut down during the pandemic. Last year, we went to Bubbling Well to get our dog a burial service. Georgina from Bubbling Well has guided me throughout the process, and was super kind and sympathetic to me and my family during our grief of losing our longtime loving companion. She was patient and provided us with detailed pricing information and suggestions based on our budget and burial land that is the closest distance to access. This year, our family had lost another loved one and Georgina remembered us. She gave us a hug and again guided us throughout the process, was very flexible with our appointments, and overall was a kind and caring staff member. I can't thank Georgina enough for assisting our family in giving peaceful burial services to both of our dogs. If you ever want a pet burial service for your loved ones, I'd recommend coming to Bubbling Well. The only hardest part was the drive to the pet cemetery as you're required to drive up a small mountain with wind-y roads. You'll need to drive carefully, but once you reach there, the pet cemetery looked very maintained and well kept. The drive up is less than 5 minutes. *** If driving up the small mountain is difficult for you, then I do NOT recommend having a pet burial service at Bubbling Well because it can impact your desire of wanting to visit your pet since the drive is a dread. Highly recommend you check out the pet cemetery before deciding on this place. I love this cemetery personally and don't mind the drive to visit my loved ones *** When talking to Georgina, I learned that the furthest customer that has came to Bubbling Well was someone who flew from New York last week! This just tells me Bubbling Well's incredible impact they have on those outside of this state too.
