Every single time the tram goes by Issy Val de Seine, I found myself sticking my neck out to check out this food stand. The idea of having a food stop next to a train station is how life should be and the best part is that this is a japanese food stand! Unfortunately, this place is not a convenient lunch stop for me so i've never really gotten the chance to try.
One late morning, I took my big pregnant craving in the opposite direction of my office and bought a two lunch boxes and bought a special bento that had a grilled fish, grilled chicken, and shrimp tempura, a chicken donburi, and a green tea chiffon cake. The food was decent, but the price was not. 29 EUR for the three items and neither my husband nor I were full. I'm not sure I would eat there even if I pass by, let alone make a special trip there. They are opening a new location on Ile ste germaine, which is much closer to me, but I doubt i'd walk there for such expensive, non-filling food. read more
