We made a reservation a few days before Christmas and asked to be seated at the counter, as it is the tradition in Japan. The waitresses wear kimonos, and the entire staff is from Japan. Add the peaceful interior, we felt being transported to the country of the Rising Sun. The 7-course menu changes very frequently and features the best of the kaiseki cuisine. Highlight of the night was the 'wagyu beef' with miso, cooked on a magnolia leaf in front of you. Also, the apple-themed dessert was excellent and offered 4 different ways of cooking the fruit. They have slightly decreased their prices for dinner, and it is definitely worth the splurge.
