I called out to the Amazon driver and this man opened his window and called me the N-word in front of several of my neighbors. As a black American, I have experienced racism far too many times to count. I was overcome by several emotions. Rage, frustration, fatigue. Fatigue at having to deal with this sort of sickness, cancer. Saddened that so many of us have to deal with it. I decided not to lash out and set out on a mission to search for an attorney who handles such cases. I was very fortunate because it did not take me long to find attorney Devin Coyle. Attorney Coyle worked for months locating the parties he needed to locate. He genuinely cared about my case and was troubled by my story. I felt extremely relieved that my case was being handled by this particular attorney. This is why I know for a fact that if you find yourself in a situation where you've been harassed for racial, political or for some other reason listed under protected class, you should definitely reach out to Attorney Devin Coyle. I hope to never find myself needing an attorney for this purpose again but if I do ever find myself dealing with something similar or some of the same old thing, this is the Attorney I will be reaching out to.

My lawyer has a thorough knowledge of the law and defended my case with determination. I always felt like a top priority, and I'm so happy with the results. Devin was extremely professional and always went the extra mile to support me in my case. With his help we won the lawsuit and I received more than I expected. I am forever grateful for his hard work and for getting me the justice I deserved. I walked away feeling stronger and with a sense of closure. I highly recommend Devin if you need a employment attorney. If you need an attorney who truly cares about his clients, look no further!

I highly recommend Tracy Lemmon at Lemmon Employment Law & Conflict Resolution. I feel incredibly…read morefortunate that I found her through Salma from Gomerman Bourn & Associates. Before working with Tracy, I consulted with three other employment attorneys about my situation. After hearing the facts, all three essentially advised me to accept the severance my former employer had offered and move on. Tracy saw the situation differently. She took the time to really understand what had happened, carefully evaluated my case, and was willing to advocate for me when others were not. Over the next several months, Tracy guided me through the entire process and ultimately represented me through mediation, where we reached a resolution that was dramatically better than the original severance offer and that I was very satisfied with. What impressed me most was not only the outcome, but how Tracy handled the process. She genuinely cared about me as a client, was thoughtful and strategic, communicated clearly, and gave my case very personalized attention. I always felt that she was advocating for my best interests rather than simply trying to move the case along. She was also very mindful of legal costs and handled the matter in a practical and cost-effective way. Employment disputes can be stressful and very personal, and having the right attorney makes an enormous difference. Tracy combined strong legal judgment and advocacy with compassion and personal attention. My experience with her was exceptional, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an employment attorney.

If you need someone who truly cares about any mistreatment or discrimination you are experiencing…read moreat work, you most definitely located the right office for the challenge. My attorney Melanie Popper represented me in Alameda county regarding a life altering discrimination and harassment matter, and I could not be more grateful to have such a knowledgeable and hard-working professional assisting me. When the office asked me to write a review, I could not begin to describe how happy and extremely pleased I am with my representation. Melanie takes time to ask the important questions no matter how big or small, and she conducted a thorough investigation of my complaints during her depositions which helped me to understand my rights. She spoke with all levels of individuals who were able to provide details of my situation including supervisors and managers. I participated in a class at The Revelatory Center for Arts and The Law which she shared. It was a creative space wherein clients got to participate in healthy activities including theater, re-evaluation co-counseling, and drumming as ways to cope with the effects of workplace harassment, etc. She helped me begin to repair the areas of my life that suffered from stress by offering access to this community workshop that used music and artistic methods of therapy. These holistic therapies and community resources helped guide me through this emotionally difficult process and I met others who were pleased with the many ways she was standing up for each of them. Ms. Popper also has a very solid understanding of current law and that makes me feel less stressed. I highly recommend Melanie Popper for anyone who has experienced a violation of their rights and is searching for a reliable, honest and dedicated lawyer. The office location is convenient and most importantly the energy in the building is full of positive people working towards helping others and that is what still gives me the strength to smile in the face of discrimination. Thank you for being my voice and for the services you and your amazing staff provide for me and my family. Sincerely, Carmen M.

I'm extremely satisfied with the service provided by Brian Kim and the staff of BKK!…read more Several years ago I became very ill with a very strange series of symptoms.  Didn't mean that I wasn't sick, but it gave the insurance company just enough of an opening that they thought that they could get away with not having to pay on the policy.  I interviewed and hired Brian Kim early in my illness when the insurance company fought paying the short term disability policy.  It took a bit but Brian was able to help me resolve the matter.  Unfortunately, Prudential decided that it would be good sport to continue to mess with the sick guy and his family and not pay LTD benefits.  As I have gotten to know Brian, I'm so favorably impressed with his work ethic and his follow through.  When you call, he either answers or calls back in relativly short order.  He is thorough and thoughtful in his preparation and does his best to resolve issues in our favor before litigation is needed.  Brian has been on top of communications management, intercepting and either correcting, answering or denying requests and/or assertions by the insurance company.  In doing so, he has protected me from myself, especially when I am undergoing medical treatment that can leave me mentally vulnerable. Bottom line, Brian has had my back the entire time. And, while I'd never wish having to go through this on anyone, having Brian in your corner makes it a bit easier.  Brian was brilliant in arranging my LTD coverage and cementing the life insurance policy I was promised as part of my employment agreement.  Part of what makes Brian so effective is the fantastic staff at BKK.  All of the folks in the office will do whatever it takes to make certain that your message gets through, your letter gets sent or your documents are filed.  Conscientious and supportive, the BKK staff are the perfect complement to Brian's practice in that they make me feel as though I am the only client that they have to worry about. Very unusual for a law practice.  Thank you Brian and everyone at BKK. I cannot express succinctly how much we appreciate the job you have done for us in smoothing the road we must now travel. All the best.

He later apologized over email for missing the call and suggested we plan another conference call the following week. I gave him a my availability for the next week and then he did not respond. I kept emailing him and called him and he never responded again.. he ghosted me.
