(There is a park behind the beer garden, so the overall vibe is super chill.) As for the food and drink, they exceeded our expectations. After having eaten out a lot over a two-week trip, the food here was much better than most of the places we visited in Germany. The pasta my daughter had was great -- lots of fresh veggies mixed in and it was her most memorable dish the entire two weeks. I had the white asparagus with a schnitzel and could not have been happier -- the asparagus and hollandaise sauce was outstanding, and the schnitzel one of the better I had all trip. It 1) was extremely watery and almost warm; 2) had a fly in it. But this isn't a pub, and the kebab is worth arguing for. The kebab is only 3.60 euro for a regular, and double meat will cost you 4.60 euro total. The sizing is enormous and probably the most bang-for-your-buck place you'll find in the area. All of their meat is of good quality, though, and despite the fly-in-beer incident I could tell that all of their ingredients were regularly checked for cleanliness. Great place to for a cheap, yummy bite to eat, but honestly you're in Germany, so I really hope you aren't eating here EVERY day and go check out the beer gardens!

Yes and yes - though the vegan mayo had a little of a bland flavour, but this might have been because everything else was so flavourblasted. Then a nice "bier" (that's all its called) to complete my trio, and I was a happy luncher. Should also add that, having lunched around 3.30pm, the foodstuffs mentioned above kept me full for the rest of the day and night. I'd definitely go back there.

A really cool little hang out joint that I imagine I would frequent if I lived in Dresden. Also the first time I got to try fritz-cola. Yummy!
