Called several times and emailed and received no response. Ended up going to another braider who had same day availability. I requested my deposit back. Received a text later in the day with an apology. Too little too late. I wasted an entire day (my Birthday). Won't schedule any other services. Pleased with the new braider Binta African Hair Braiding in Pawtucket. I requested a refund. She offered $25 credit at her beauty store. No thanks. :(

The smell of it is amazing, and not musty or axe smelling like a lot of them are. Also great because not many beauty supplies around here sell many beard oils. Outside of Sally's and even then, that's rare sometimes. Not to mention have it priced cheaper than places like Target have it! ($7.99 for a two ounce bottle vs $15 for a one ounce bottle at Target.) I did notice the owners were like watching everything from the registers. But you kinda gotta expect that at a small business beauty supply store. Definitely gonna come back when I need a restock on that beard oil! Also have my eye on that Jamaican flag bandana too haha.

My first Apothecary facial was back in 2013. The gal who worked with me was obviously hung over, not happy about being there that morning, and gave me an absolutely amazing pore popping, skin changing facial. Walked out of there feeling like a million bucks .. and that I'd just spent an hour with my worst frenemy. I returned for another facial last month and met with a different gal; very sweet, but provided the most unenthusiastic spa service I've ever received. Again - an absolutely fabulous facial, but left me lying on the table for 5 - 10 minutes at a time in between treatments. Get up off the chair and throw in some massage for crying out loud .. don't just let me lay there! Two fabulous facials, two totally bizarre experiences - I will be back! =) How can I not?!
