I was very worried at first because this was my first time at this location. As soon as my hair specialist; Jessica lynne, who is one of two curly hair specialist at the shop; came and got me for my appointment I knew I was in good hands. She first sat me down and asked what I wanted which was a deep wash, blowout and cut for my dead ends. She was honest a told me that she deals with a lot of people who have straighter hair but that she had 18 years of experience and would make sure she got me right. And she delivered. Washing my amount of hair was difficult but she managed and did a good job getting a deep clean all the way to my scalp, walked me over to her station to start detangling and sectioning for the blowout. After that it was set basically. She made very good time and my appointment was done in about 2 and a half hours which I was not expecting. She also pushed back her next appointment for me which was nice, obviously she wasn't going to leave me with half my head done, but she took her time and care to make sure I got what I asked for. Subsequently I received an accurate confirmation text with the time alotted for the services requested. Today at my appointment my stylist told me she didn't have the time to perform the services requested and tried to offer partial service. This was below sub-grade customer service. I have seen this stylist several times. My hair is not new to her. I booked the appointment, they confirmed they had all the time they needed, yet they didn't. I was shocked, exceedingly disappointed, surprised at their lack of an apology. The stylist tried to satisfy me with partial service, which was insulting, and so disrespectful. I now find them untrustworthy. They have lost my business due to this horrible experience. I have compared notes with other Sky Parlor customers and they are leaving the salon as well. I understand why.

The results led me to Abby B, and thank goodness they did. I called in and booked an appointment for the very next day. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. I explained my hair situation to Abby, and she immediately made me feel heard and reassured.
