On March 31st, almost two months in advance, I had made an appointment for a newborn shoot to take place on May 20th. When I checked to confirm this week, she asked if we can move to Friday instead of Saturday, for my baby, who is now 10 days old (pics need to be taken in the first 2 weeks) We obliged, and because it's a school day for my preschooler, I asked for 7:30 AM instead of 8:00 AM. She responded with "you're an hour away from me". Meanwhile, I had agreed to paying the additional fee (she was charging me $30 instead of the $25 mentioned on the Groupon voucher for out of service area) to compensate for the distance. When I sent her images of pictures I would like taken which would include two siblings and parents in different shots, she said it was an additional $150! It is not uncommon for family members to be part of a newborn shoot and nowhere in her fine print does she mention the shoot to be exclusively for the newborn and that siblings or parents are additional. Based on other reviews, she probably is a good photographer, but very unprofessional. Because she is non accommodating, I have to find another photographer last minute. Ironically, she does not seem to understand her clientele and the time sensitivity of newborn photography.
