Our only concern was that he said there was some putty on shingles which people do when they are trying to sell a house. There was no problem in selling this house and it had just been inspected. The second time was when we had trouble with the gutters they had just installed (they were supposed to put on gutter guards but didn't. One section leaked and the guy who came to inspect it said he could see where the gutter was curves and didn't fit correctly. He sent out his supervisor who said the new gutter was full of leaves (in February after horrible snow and ice - no leaves in the short time since they installed the gutter. He told us to cut the old stellate dish off and but off the huge cables attached to the house. The first guy told us we couldn't do that (other dish companies had told us the same) because we would have huge holes that would leak; no matter how much putty we put in. We'd need to make sure no other wires were in that huge cable. This guy is retired from the Army and is a supervisor after only working for the company for a few years. He said he had a lor of hail damage and would need a new roof. None of us can remember when we had a hailstorm for years. Out truck sits outside and it was never damaged. Again, an inspector would have noticed that. I thought this company was great and had recommended them several times. We were very disappointed with the service this time and his obvious ploy to get us to purchase new services. I think we would have better service from the first guy. For anything else we may need, we'll be calling a different company. Very disappointing because they first people had been so kind and concerned about our family. I don't think a military man is going to pray for anyone who has a health problem.

What made the difference was not only the price difference but also the very detailed estimate and the quality of the products listed. From the other companies I just got by mail a short estimate without much details. With Dynamic Restoration I had over an hour meeting at our house (I had lot of questions!) and I learned so much through it and felt confident that after spending over 35k Dynamic Restoration would be the right contractor. We signed the contract with Fernando (highly recommend him) and we had the best installers crew with a supervisor who spoke English so we had no issues with communication. We have so many slopes on our roof and the work performed by Dynamic Restoration was top notch! Fernando came physically every day to check on the progress. We also met the owner Luis who is very professional. Every workers were respectful and worked so hard. Our property was left spotless. I had a big lunch for 14 people delivered so that they could have a nice break and sure enough they appreciate any kind gesture you can offer them. We were so pleased with Dynamic Restoration that we asked them to replace all our gutters. A very special thank you to Christine at Dynamic Restoration who fought for us with our home insurance. Our case was a tough one and she was so very helpful and successful. She is a gem!

I would not have let him start the work, should have researched him. I would definitely not have paid all of it that night! He is a smooth talker, has that 'I treat you right' spiel, seems sincere but this type of behavior is what makes people wary of independent contractors. When he said his great-grandpa is Burl Manley, I thought he would be a decent worker & man of his word, because Burl hauled gravel & did work for us before. His response was "they should have known better than that". No, the guy who started the job should have finished the job. The trees in backyard he trimmed were more like chopped.
