Green Valley Auctions - Auction listing stating "approx. 965 rounds"

Another great experience at Green Valley!…read more Honest, knowledgeable, and hardworking, you are not going to find better people than the Evans family. They do an excellent job of providing product descriptions along with detailed photos of all items for sale online. The warehouse is highly organized, and the staff is always courteous and helpful, which makes pick up day a snap. My favorite part of the process is walking through the front door and being greeted by "Marlo" the sweetest dog in the world!! Green Valley, thank you for everything you do!

BUYERS BEWARE. They allow misrepresentation of items…read more On 8/19/25 I won a lot of bulk .357 ammo described as "consigned notes approx 965 rounds". After pickup, I counted and found there to be only 439 rounds. Less than half of what I thought I was bidding on. I called and was told that because the description noted "approx 965 rounds", they didn't think this item was misrepresented and were not inclined to make it right, basically arguing that 439 was approximately 965. The gentleman told me he would check with the auction coordinator and get back to me. As of this writing, I have not heard back. I understand an auction company doesn't have to me to count every bulk lot, and while I would have been disappointed if the lot was 10-20% short, that would be understandable. I feel that this case is rather egregious because I did not even receive half of what I thought I was buying.

I attend an average of an auction week and have perhaps five auction houses I frequent regularly…read more But Tillett's is by far my go-to auction, the one I rarely miss. It's the quintessential traditional, old-time auction house with the paper tickets, chanting auctioneers, and a crowd of rich personalties whom you will get to know well if you become a regular customer. Over the past few years, the quality of the items has risen substancially. I've purchased everything there from a mounted big-horn sheep, to loads of fishing equipment, fine books and even a prosthetic leg (which I ended up selling at a nice profit to a one-legged Gypsy in Romania, no joke!) My one piece of advice would be to bring a book and plan to stay for the duration, as the best deals often come up toward the end. They have recently moved up their start time from 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., mercifully making the nights not quite so late. So stop by, plan on staying for dinner, and leave extra room in your vehicle, because you never know what you'll be taking home.

The coins they had on auction one night were fake and no refunds even when they said they were real. As a seller its the worst they take 40% and the buyer pays 10 percent they will sell your item for a dollar with no reserve. I rather go to more respected auctions in the area.
