Staff here were super nice, especially when I wanted to keep hunting more prints and need more tokens. The store itself is really a treasure trove of souvenirs, musically inclined tokens, and other items that would make great gifts. I picked up a little Bob Ross finger puppet for my FIL - they collect the artist ones of the finger puppet collection. I think I saw more selection here than at most museum gift shops. I'm so glad I stumbled on this place by accident by hunting prints because I can see myself coming in for random gifts for people now.

In the end, it would have been faster to order it myself online. More recently, I tried to exchange a gift I received, a biography (not a musical score), that I already owned. I simply wanted to exchange the biography, which was clearly unread, for a different one that was actually more expensive. I was happy to pay the difference. I even had the physical receipt. Both were full-price books, not discounted items. The exchange was declined under their umbrella policy. I understand having a policy in place to protect publishers, but it would be clearer to simply state "All Sales Final on Printed Materials." Instead, the language references "copyrighted materials," which suggests there may be exceptions, when in practice there are not. I want to support a neighborhood brick and mortar music shop. But when selection is limited, flexibility is minimal, and communication is inconsistent, it becomes difficult to justify staying loyal. I am disappointed to say, that I will likely purchase my scores and books elsewhere going forward. At times, the store feels oriented more toward internal or institutional purchases than toward the musicians and readers who live in the neighborhood.

It's time to continue the store of Haytham Kenway read from journals  by his son Ratonhnhaké:ton (Noah Watts), also known as Connor, an 18th-century assassin novel.  Most call readers or people playing the game will refer to him as Conor,  because his Native American name will get butchered. The first Assassin's Creed novel came out on November 11th 2009 and I started reading these books as they came out....well to be honest,  I hadn't known about the books until 2010.  Nevertheless,  I read the books on the subway to my former place of work in Washington D.C.  Looking at the book and seeing this book by Oliver Bowden and Penguin Books  compelled me to write this review.  These book take my mind to places my mind can only imagine.   It also help create ideas for my own novels. Reading these books and others helps give me insights on the writing styles and how to write my own style of novels. In truth, Yelp has been the most beneficial to me and my style of writing. Two books I am interested in reading even if they are out of order are Assassin Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.   After I finish this book, I will move on to other books in the Assassin's Creed novels.   Years ago I remember hearing "Penguin Audio" or Penguin Random House Audio presents...."  it is something that has stayed with me. One day I look forward to seeing my works  of art with this company.  Until then, we will have to wait and see.

It's close to Central Park and lots of food establishments and fun places. I'm there frequently to shop and eat while enjoying the NYC atmosphere of this neighborhood. My favorite books were the classics published by Penguin. Penguin Books the British publishing company began in 1935. They were economical paperbacks easy for me to carry to school and work. I always enjoyed reading paperbacks. My favorite of the classics are The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I recommend you visit their website if you are a book lover. Their office building is The Random House Tower, aka the Park Imperial Apartments, it is 52-stories. The buildings three main towers give it the impression of being three books. I love to walk around and peruse the shelves, view still in print publications I worked on, and also discover those of different topics. Magazine Cafe has a wide variety and assortment to choose from. They literally carry thousands of publications here on Fashion, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Art, Home, Food, Travel, Technology, News, Business, etc. They feature domestic and worldwide titles, plus hard to find publications. They have a good website where you can order from and ship for free in the continental US. if you love reading and are a magazine junkie this is a must visit.

Since that time there have been ongoing issues with magazine delivery delayed or arriving 1 month late, (only after I prod the distributor). I understand that this is an international magazine. Magazine Cafe provided a complimentary upgrade from Sea Copy to Air Copy, but that did not hasten delivery. I expect more rapid delivery of this expensive magazine. Perhaps another distributor provides better service.

Polish Bookstore & Publishing, Co., Inc AKA…read more SweetPoland is a hybrid of a Polish Bookstore & a Mail Order Polish Food Delivery Service. I cannot say too much about their bookstore, but their extensive selection of Polish goodies from all over Greenpoint, Brooklyn area is peerless. They will even deliver their ethnic goodies by car direct to your home in the Brooklyn area. I was able to order from California via telephone, & they were able to deliver the next day by car to my disabled Mom's home in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. What a god-send! Their prices are quite reasonable & their products are fresh from the local shops. They have a huge selection of various homemade East European delicacies that are impossible to find in most of the US.. They have a full range of various Kielbasa, Cold Cuts, Bacon, & Pastries (such as Poppyseed Cake or Strudel ). I also had them do a 2-day ice packed delivery to my home in California without a problem. The various goodies cost about $100 & the unavoidable shipping was also $100....but this far far cheaper than flying to NYC to get this stuff....or even going to a rare shop in San Francisco, where it would cost more for a hotel & gas to get there from my house in Central CA. Besides, the stuff you can get in California ultimately is imported from Brooklyn anyway....and then sits around forever. With all the middlemen involved, the prices are then jacked up in CA. The Polish Bookstore provides honest service for unique products that customers treasure. I cannot find anything anywhere in the US that provides their unique service & enormous variety!

I was in a pinch-- need it by tomorrow. Anyway, they have a disclaimer everywhere saying that "French books are expensive. They run at least $21.95. If you ordered from the Parisian equivalent of BN, you would have to pay [exorbitant amount] euros...." They've got some gall. I asked the shopkeeper what they would do when the store closes. He said the internet. If you come across them, I wouldn't recommend them.
