It didn't feel formal or distant--more like a church family that was glad to have visitors. The service was centered on Scripture and Christ. The preaching was thoughtful and clearly rooted in the Bible, and you could tell the congregation takes God's Word seriously. I especially appreciated the reverence in worship and the sense that this church values both truth and fellowship. If you're looking for a church in the St. Johnsville / Mohawk Valley area where the Bible is preached faithfully and the people are warm and authentic, this is definitely worth visiting. It's refreshing to find a place where the focus is simply on worshiping the Lord and growing in faith together.
