Our Ohana visited here the day after attending a nearby wedding and it was a truly moving and contemplative pilgrimage with plenty of places to pray in silence and just "be present" with God. This is a great local community that feels more like a family than just a Church of strangers. Very welcoming and caring. They do a lot more than take care of their own too. They have one of the few food pantries available to anyone in need and go above and beyond with the dinners they provide around the holidays. This congregation is so very giving in many ways. A little less reverent at times than I'd prefer with folks chatting like the family and friends they are while others are trying to pray before Mass. Its probably the most intimate Catholic Church I've ever attended. It may not be the most ornate or beautiful Church around, but the welcoming and closeness of the congregation is well worth experiencing.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I went up there recently for the first time. The drive isn't…read morethat bad, it's pretty direct. Cell phone coverage was good until I got on the grounds, so gps should be fine (if you use your phone). The grounds are huge. There is plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoors and prayer opportunities. The library is absolutely welcoming, with a beautiful fireplace and lots of reading materials to borrow while you are there. There's a beautiful chapel that is handicapped accessible. The chapel is very comfortable and a great place to spend time in prayer and reflection. Sitting down by the pond is peaceful. I can't recommend this enough and I hope to return soon!
