In summer time great seating outside on ale-benches, in winter time inside at the wooden and rustic bar. The beer selection helps to decide on a good drink. As mostly everyone in Göttingen is friendly and happy staff is always sweet and top notch :)

Good beer: Hacker Pschorr, Beck's, Murphy's and Newcastle Brown Ale on tap + cigars and whiskey. Pair this with cool music (also live) and your result is the Schorsch'l. Nice for late nights. Eisenach may be dead, but this places lives!

I appreciated the colours too. (See photo below) My beer, Kostritzer Edel Pils was above average (for a pils). They serve a mix of German, English and Irish food. A good place to watch the German (but not the English) football. They hold events in the cellar. Thankfully I was able to get away before the Karaoke.
